What's the point of a bottom pin? For example, the NBA playoffs round 1 is in full swing. The thread was just fine getting bumped to the top during games while it was active, then falling back between games.

No crimes were being committed and no break ins to take our guns. Most all of my friends were frequent hunters. Not sure if this was a routine practice in urban towns in the 60s and 70s.
