re: LSU & Night Games prior to this decade

The LSU fans complain all the time about Bama-Tennessee.........Thought the rivalry should be dropped. Now that Tennessee has won some they seem to be alright with it. Weird! Where you been? Ha!

More LSU fans picked LSU to go 8-4 than either 11-1

You must have taken a vacation from the Rant right after Kiffin was hired......but seeing your post count I don't think you ever leave this place. There is no way there were more than a handful at most of LSU people predicting LSU to go 8-4.

What are you talking about?

The way some of your fans talked Kiffin and this roster up you guys shouldn't lose a game for a long time. Him being a first year coach was nowhere on the radar. It was all about the amount of money that was spent and the roster he put together. I know you haven't forgotten. Already a disappointment compared to the way your fanbase built THIS team up! Now, it's he's a first year coach. Lol!

Sark would come if he was fired from Texas but would we even want him. Fantastic OC but has struggled running programs for some reason.

re: Oled or Mini LED?

I'm guessing you two don't agree. That's kind of what I've got on other sites when comparing them. It's mostly people arguing for one or the other. I was hoping to get a unified answer. Lol! Thanks for the help though!

Oled or Mini LED?

Posted by UrbJones33 on 10/20/26 at 6:18 am

Looking at either an LG B6E oled or a TCL QM7K or QM8K mini led or something else.........Anyone have any good reasons for one over the other? Trying to stay reasonable on price. Looking at 55" size wise.

Yea, I specifically remember someone on here saying they were not worried at all about the Tennessee game. Lol!

Time for some 30+ yard routes. I'm sure there won't be any pressure.......

re: "My entire life Alabama has always gotten the call and you haven’t had a problem with it..

I mean, it's really time to move on but remember there is a lot of luck involved in every game. While both fanbases are talking ifs and buts how many times did Georgia put the ball on the ground and get it back? A lot of luck involved with that as well. Normally, a team wouldn't get away with that but you did. Their fans don't seem to mention that when they talk about everything else. Anyway, I think you guys have a great team and congrats on the win.

re: Dennis Franchione dead at 75

Posted by UrbJones33 on 10/6/26 at 11:33 am to Che Boludo

RIP!.....I liked Coach Franchione while he was at Alabama.........but leaving is a personal choice and one thing, the way he left Alabama is what left a sour taste in my mouth about the way I felt about him. I always liked how Mike Raita followed him to College Station and kept demanding answers because he kind of jetted out the back door.

re: LSU mighty lippy for a team whose highest achievement so far is a quality loss to Ole Miss

Posted by UrbJones33 on 10/4/26 at 5:27 pm to Henry Jones Jr

"It was because they have a new team full of new players but they never mentioned that all summer when they threw it in our face that they had a $50 million roster and the Why is your team poor, bro?" responses. It only became a thing when they lost to Ole Miss.

Great take by Moscona when he tried to troll Alabama fans when Deboer flipped Rusell. It looks dumber and dumber every week.

Easy gameday meals

Just looking for something good but also easy to make on Saturdays during football season. Also, I have a stainless steel table with a stainless steel bowl that I made that has a burner that I've been wanting to use for a soup or pasta recipe so if anyone has any good recipes like that I would appreciate it.

I'll say it again. My best friend was an Auburn fan and never stepped foot in a classroom at Auburn. I have a degree from Alabama. So do you think I should tell him he's not a true fan. GTFO! You can be a fan of whomever you want. This whole thing always reeks of a smug attitude that "I'm better than you and I have more of a right to be a fan because of it!" There is probably someone out there who never finished high school but built his own business and is a millionaire and is a fan of Alabama and donates money to the athletic department and/or school in some fashion and I'm happy to have his/her support.
