I’ve already cut my consumption to just Ole Miss games. Not bothered to
follow anyone else. No NFL, NBA, and very little MLB. I do watch the
EPL and Championship soccer. Fewer commercials and the announcers
don’t hype the shite out of everything....

I’d be a little pissed as an employee if there
wasn’t money in the budget for a decent raise. Are they going to put a FedEx logo

Ole Miss reported revenue of 142 million a couple of days ago. So the list isn’t
quite up to date. What is amazing though is most schools still report losing
money, or at best, a small profit. ...

The schools that don’t make money off of football or men’s basketball will
drop most of their athletic programs. Can football survive without using the
colleges as the farm system ? I doubt it because of costs unless the NFL heavily
subsidizes the product. Basketball probably can, baseball and...

Freshmen are free to transfer and are,
in most cases, a developmental gamble.
The most valuable recruits are the ones that have burned their one time free transfer, and have shown they can compete. High School recruiting isn’t
the the best way to build a team now....

I dismissed the rumor when I first heard it
but given his age and current salary, it
isn’t crazy. It also has the advantage of forcing Oklahoma to go through a coaching search before their first season....
