Alabama this decade

Also, at auburn in 2014. #7 vs #12, we lost 41-7.

2015 Alabama. Undefeated, we had Fournette, if we win we almost certainly make the playoffs. We not only lost 30-16, but LF got stuffed all game long.

The Miles era became a slow train wreck after that game until he was fired.

I don’t think any of us were expecting what would come next after we went up 14. This place was nuts at the time and then shite went downhill real fast.

This predates me but the older Ags bring it up. The 1975 squad had gone undefeated and beaten a #5 ranked Earl Campbell lead Texas team pretty soundly to climb to the #2 ranking. All we had to do was beat a 2 loss, 18th ranked Arkansas and we are playing for the natty!

We get hammered 31-6 up in Faytetville.

I also remember getting absolutely detonated by the Alex Smith/Urban Meyer Utah team in 2004. That Utah squad went undefeated so in hindsight it made more sense. At the time I was definitely shocked.

Was at that game. Miserable.

I'll go with 2014 A&M. Preseason ranked #9/East champs, opening of SEC Network, 18 game home winning streak...

1978 Cotton Bowl
#1 Texas 10
#5 Notre Dame 38

Earl Campbell's Heisman Season. My senior year.

I didn't think ND had a chance, but I read too much about Texas and not enough about ND. ND had a bunch of NFL players, including Joe Montana.

6 Texas turnovers. ND wins National Championship.

I love college football, but sometimes it stings like a bitch!

2003 against UGA. Clemson was slowly improving under Tommy Bowden following the abysmal 90's and I was excited to open the season against the dawgs. Clemson did absolutely nothing that day in brain-searing heat and lost 30-0 at home.

2008 against Oklahoma. Huge win against #1 Texas and then we get our arse pounded in Norman. Sigh.

the first of 3 Tigers dragging their balls over Bama in 2019.

The Utah sugar bowl loss is a close second.
