re: Predictions Grouping Rose Bowl

You aren’t going to find a lot of “online” pundits or people looking for CFB street cred picking against the hipster team of the century in Indiana.

As for the rain, if it does mostly taper off to where it’s not raining much during the game but the field/ball is just wet that can actually help the WRs. They know where and when they are going but defenders have to react and that makes them more vulnerable to slipping than the offensive players. Both defenses play such heavy zone though that even that probably won’t matter too much. Now if it turns out that it’s pouring during the game then it just becomes a slop fest played in a phone booth and fluky fumbles could turn the game.

Quite possibly the worst take of all time.

He’s always quick to mention that it’s not his fault. “Got to execute better” and in the same answer he said the “scheme is good.”

shuffles the rest, very odd strategy. Never seen this before at any level.

It’s insane. And as easy as it is to blame the OL coach there are (at least) two other coaches he has to answer to that could tell him to cut it out anytime they wanted to.
Indiana is extremely well-coached and solid in all three phases. I fully expect us to have a punt blocked in this game.

I think the “good matchup” commentary is from having expected most of the year that Ohio St would be the one seed. I don’t care about the Big 10 title game, I’m much more confident about playing IU than I would be against Ohio St.
We are going to win.

Also Indiana went all out to win that Big 10 championship game against a team that wasn’t all-in. I’m pretty confident Ohio St held some things back for the bigger prize and the next month will show that.

Imagine still caring what Michael Wilbon has to say in the year 2025

Especially about a sport he has never covered and never known anything about.
You can just watch Ty play the last month or so of the season and know that he isn’t right.
Kalen DeBoer was not in Tuscaloosa last Thursday.
Everybody: DeBoer sucks.

Same Everybody when a big job is open: DeBoer is their top choice.
We can lose and drop a spot and stay in the playoff if the favorites win. And we should’ve never been behind ND but we were so the committee is clearly fine having us behind ND and not Miami.
We’d either stay at 9 or drop to 10. ACC and G5s are filling out 11 and 12. So likely we’dbe at OU or A&M. Probably A&M because the committee would fix it that there aren’t rematches of OU-Bama and A&M-ND.
We took advantage the first time. Georgia’s pass rush has shown some signs of life in the last few weeks.

Bama didnt even give lane a call 2 years ago when he wanted the job. He burned bridges there when he left

There and everywhere else he’s ever been. Hopefully the next few years are worth it for LSU before the inevitable bomb goes off.

Maybe.

Deboer goes to PSU

LOL

Kiffin says "Peace out!" to LSU

DeBoer is not going anywhere. Let’s live in fantasy land for a moment though… Alabama knows enough about Kiffin from his time there that they didn’t even give him a phone call two years ago. Nothing changed since then except that he lit his most recent employer on fire.

We are getting a bye if we win and we desperately need it to get as healthy as possible.

Penn St needs to do what?

Very surprised Hartline couldn't get a bigger job than USF

USF might be the best job in the G5. If Hartline is a good head coach he won’t be there long.
They had four players committed last I saw last night. Signing day is today. If nobody wanted the job before they definitely don’t want it now.

I just figured ATL was easy trip for both teams- especially UGA.

Fans would rather save money for a playoff game (or 2-3 playoff games). We’ve seen our fair share of Alabama-Georgia in that stadium
