What is the biggest game you were anticipating but to only to get blown out?

For me was the 2008 LSU vs Florida game. LSU was #3 and Florida was #12 and Florida raped us 51-21. Everything went right for Florida and i was not ready for that beat down lol.

I’ve been blown out way too quickly before getting to play the game

I was at that game. Tebow did his sideline run right near where we were sitting. Was hyped af. We were right in the corner opposite the band absolutely jammed packed. Could barely move it was so full.

As for the thread. Probably 2012 Sugar Bowl.

2008 against Oklahoma. Huge win against #1 Texas and then we get our arse pounded in Norman. Sigh.

I was actually expecting that one, so I'll go with 2007 vs Missouri. There was no good excuse.

2007 vs alabama. We had a solid year going, hell we ended up winning the east. It was sabans first year and they weren't great. I was at my sisters wedding and not even that worried about the game, by the time the reception began I was expecting like a 28-14 TN lead and they had already beaten the shite out of us.

This game changed my life in the way I approach football season.

I was so convinced we were going to beat them and we just sucked and never scored.

I now look forward to football the same way I do basketball. If we are remotely good, I keep watching. If we suck (2012) I don’t watch it at all.
