Shocked by that one

Justin Jefferson was the mvp there in 2011
re: Why did zero offensive starters follow Lane Kiffin to LSU?

Nobody in the right mind thinks that. Ole Miss was who they were because of Kiffin. Beforehand, they were the doormat of the SEC. They still have a good roster that was assembled by Kiffin so I’d be willing to bet that they’ll still be good this year. After 2 years, they’ll go right back to mediocrity just like they did after Freeze.

Ole Miss was in a unique situation last year where they made the playoffs and had a great bracket to make a deep run.
Additionally, this became an extremely controversial move on the college football world stage due to the timing of it all. There was a lot of pressure put on those players; once they made that deep run and the whole college football world was praising their new coach, it made it extremely difficult for those guys to bounce.
None of the other coaches’ teams made a playoff run besides the Florida coach, much easier to get up and leave with them IMO.

520k is not worth skipping college for. He’d probably make close to that per season at LSU
Dominic Santarelli: Odds of making it on campus

Looks like he got a ton of hype after his pro day the other day; hitting 7 balls over 114 mph and a 119. Currently ranked as the ~141st prospect in the 2026 MLB draft.
What’re the chances that he’ll make it to campus?

David eckstein was 5’6. Milam is one of the best defensive shortstops in recent memory despite his height

It was LF for me and boy did he pan out. Additionally, even though it didn’t pan out, I was excited for Underwood. With the recent success of LSU qb’s the last few years, you’d think the top QB’s would be drooling to come to LSU

The 15 seconds of getting laid doesn’t make your summer any better

I’d be shocked if Holman is on his way out. He’s a true pitcher (not a thrower like a lot of minor league arms). I feel like he’s got a lot left in the tank due to his size. He was 92-94 here but it looked effortless.

Not mad about it. He’s got a lot of work to do to fix those mechanics.
re: Who do you want to see win it all?

Anyone but Arkansas, Florida, ole Miss, and UCLA. I could live with state, Auburn, Georgia, etc

That was embarrassing tbh
Is there a possibility for a regional?
Posted by Tigerbait8 on 5/14/26 at 11:45 am
Besides winning the SECT, is there a world we could get into a regional? They say the magic number is 13-14 wins. If we win the series vs Florida, and win 2 more in Hoover, is there a possibility of getting a 3 seed in someone’s regional?

which this isn’t “law enforcement” it’s a protection detail which is a different thing altogether
Again, I don’t care how many podcasts or social media posts you read, you don’t quite understand what you’re talking about. As a matter of fact, they are indeed law enforcement. They are 1811 gun carriers (federal criminal investigators), trained at a federal law enforcement training center and a couple of other academies. This is common knowledge with a little research. Special operators are more than welcome to receive that type of training, to go along with their combat experience, but they are two completely different things. Federal law enforcement has to work within the scope of their duties.

I can see Curiel having a big weekend and maybe Yorke getting another crack at the lineup if the pitching matchup is favorable

Well we’re in crunch time mode and this team is rolling right now. We need to pick up 4 wins within these next 2 series and if not, pick up at least 1-2 wins in the tournament. As of today, we’re lined up to play Tennessee in the 1st round which is lined up with Alabama. We can absolutely beat these teams right now especially if we can get Evans back and stanny.

If you really have to, budget your money towards transportation, game entry, sandwich material for lunches, and stay at an Airbnb. Hell of a lot cheaper than staying at a luxurious resort on the strip.
