CAM, simply because he didn't have the talent surrounding him like tebow and tua....damn solid, fundamentally sound seniors, but not great talent....then tua who may turn out to be the most accurate passer that i have ever seen....tebow, then johnny....all were/are outstanding and generational players

How about some context for which we are choosing? We thinking who will go down as the best of the bunch by the time their careers are all finished, who was the best college QB, what?

Cam was the best college football player I have ever seen live. Tebow is 2nd, but a fairly distance 2nd compared to Cam. Tua definitely benefits from weapons ALL around him, still good but not as good as Cam and Tebow. LSU beat Manziel handily each of the games we played him. Good BIG 12 qb, but just above average SEC qb.
The thing the Manziel had, along with Cam and Tebow that I do not think Tua possesses, is PASSION. Which is an overlooked intangible that I think comes into play still in college football.

Early in the season people laughed at Tua being compared to Tebow, Manziel, or Cam....
But times have changed muh friends...
I say...
1. Cam (frick Auburn)
2. Tua
3. Tebow
4. Johnny
If you're going off team success then it should be:
Tebow
Tua
Cam
Johnny
if you're going strictly off individual performance based on what they had around them and what they were asked to do:
Johnny
Cam
Tebow
Tua
Winning is CERTAINLY a QB stat, but to me it's a secondary one. They have less control over the game than pitchers in baseball.
JFF elevated a middle of the pack big 12 roster to compete with the best in the SEC immediately. His only position group that was top tier was OL, and his WR were in the upper half of the league. We ran 5 wide and there was a huge drop off after Evans and Swope. Year two we started a walk on, that was found on the WOMENS BASKETBALL PRACTICE SQUAD.
He would have absolutely went scorched earth with bama or tebow florida talent around him.

Cam and it’s not even close. Tua will constantly hurt in the NFL
If you're including NFL careers then yes, it's not close. If you're only talking about college careers then I think it's much closer but Cam is still on top.

How do you know Manziel has more passion than Tua? The "eye test"?

What made Tebow and Cam so incredible at the college level is that they were basically unstoppable in any short yardage or goal line situation. They were matchup nightmares and basically impossible to gameplan for.
Tua, while already an all-time great college passer, is a bit more conventional to scheme for defensively. He's in the same tier as guys like Bradford, Mayfield, and Mariota.

Right now, perhaps, but Tua will benefit of playing a full 2 seasons (presuming he declares for the draft in 2020, which he would be crazy not to barring injury). If he leads Alabama to two titles and wins at least one Heisman during that stretch, he'll top the list.
He's the best pure passer on the list by a long shot though.

Cam
Tua
Tebow

Cam has the least support around him so I give him the nod over Tua. However, I was skeptical about Tua before the season, but he has absolutely proven that he belongs in the conversation with these guys.

I feel you, but he’s literally surrounded by five stars being coached by the GOAT. It will always be an asterisk when discussing his place among the all time greats.
