Texas suffered a major blow on Saturday as star left tackle Trevor Goosby sustained a season-ending knee injury during the Longhorns' win over Ole Miss.

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Goosby will miss the remainder of the 2026 season after leaving Saturday's game with the injury.

Goosby is considered one of the top offensive tackle prospects in college football and was projected as the No. 8 overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft by ESPN's Field Yates.

Andre Cojoe replaced Goosby against Ole Miss and could take over at left tackle moving forward.

Texas returns to action Saturday against Mississippi State.
