Maybe Sankey just ASSUMES they played pro players because of how badly they beat them, and he feels he's just too important to bother checking.

If you did you'd be kicked out of the conference before this weekend.
Texas had a player on their roster this past weekend who has attended two NFL minicamps. They have since declared him ineligible. Have they received this degree of scrutiny?

Go ahead and do it. shite or get off the pot. That'll give us a head start to find the best landing spot first before the other 15 members have to find new homes.

Because ESPN will end the SEC.

I think wishcasting a heavy hitter in the leauge out is the most low T thing on this site lately.

I would like nothing more than to play the teams I hate, not hope they go away.

The SEC sued LSU, not the other way around.

I don't know.

Maybe it's a benefit of having a coach who doesn't show his arse for attention constantly.

Since you didn't, this is nothing but a warning shot and nothing will happen to LSU as long as you don't roster/play them.

It's really not that difficult.

Nah, there's more at play here. Someone in Tennessee and Oxford and certainly Sankey have had their feelings hurt and they are out for blood like a scorned woman. (In Tennessee's case it actually is a woman)

Sankey will be the casualty here- and when it happens- and what the league has lost in prestige and credibility is calculated- even the anti LSU rage trollers will hate him for it. This is bush league- temper tantrum- indefensible- costly AF-hypocritical-selective outrage- kid stuff. And this has been a GREAT league notable for exactly what Sankey has now destroyed- collegiality. That’s gone now. That’s dead.

I am sorry your feelings are hurt by Lane Kiffin. Would you like a tissue?

They weren't even on the roster, at least the ones that fall under the SEC's new rule. I hope we get the Alabama judge from My Cousin Vinny to question the SEC on these filings.

Yet another person who doesn't know what happened. It's like a broken record at this point.

I think it’s a great idea. They, as an institution, have proven they don’t have any respect for this conference or its member institutions.

They fired the guy who fired the guy who cheated in basketball, and then re-hired the cheater.

The governor of the state, judges, lawyers, and AGs have all proven they will do whatever they can to protect LSU - to include legally binding the conference from enforcing common sense measures to protect its members.

They can frick off and try their hand at independence. Enjoy the night games against UTEP and Utah State.

The fricking irony coming from a dude whose team played a pro basketball player.

Sankey is doing what the schools are telling him to do.

I'm pretty sure they are just trying to send a message to LSU.

1. Don't do it.
2. Tell your coach to shut up.

That's true. Alabama is the only conference school actually playing pro players.
