Monken already admitted he was wrong about that.

It's pretty terrible as usual, only chuckle was when he was getting his LSU card.

He's Baton Rouge media. He's usually pretty levelheaded and frankly he's correct on his take.

LSU retards keep saying "But what about Chambliss" !! I guess they just can't comprehend that Chambliss has never left Ole Miss He has never been paid by an NFL team!! Fricking Dumbasses

Because the Chambliss situation is actually much worse. He's not seeking a 5th year, but a 6th. And he didn't have rules changes against him after the fact like these players.

I really don't care if the kids can play for lsu, but allowing Chambliss to play when his situation is much more of a fraud than these players case absolutely deserves to be called out.
These 22 kids have a much better argument than chambliss for being allowed another year. Frankly it's not even close.

Is he the guy who tried to get a hardship waiver because somebody called him the "N" word? Lol

No he had tonsillitis and had to eat ice cream for a couple of days. 6th year needed.
i don't have a subscription to the advocate. I did not see that part in quotes on twitter, i'll have to take your word for it. Her wanting them to be ambassadors though is still a perfectly normal take.
quote:

"Maybe the two LSU post players could even help end the war" is the exact quote from the article in The Advocate.

i haven't seen that, if true that's quite funny i agree. i assume it wasn't said seriously but i do agree that's hilarious.
quote:

If you don't think suggesting the two being teammates would somehow contribute to the war ending is ludicrous

I guess it's a good thing she didn't remotely say that. You actually thought Kim Mulky said two girls on a college girls basketball team could help end the war between Ukraine and Russia? :rotflmao:
It's not ludicrous at all. The Russian girl is just a child. Many people are able to compartmentalize the difference between people actively engaging in war in children who just happen to be from the same country.

I have no opinion on Kova's decision to leave the team, that's her right and her business. But there's nothing wrong with Mulkys quote about wanting them to be ambassadors.
Nothing in your reply says mulkey believed they would be besties like in a disney movie. it says she thought they could be ambassadors. Not even close to the same thing.
quote:

Mulkey didn’t go to Koval before she recruited Minaeva. Mulkey doesn’t give a shite what Koval thinks or feels.

Every article says she did. I wasn't there personally, but that is what is being reported.
quote:

Mulkey secured Minaeva, at some point she disclosed this to Koval, and whatever was reported was spun to make it only sound like communication, much less consultation.

gotcha, so just making more stuff up i see.

quote:

Your brain doesn’t make the basic logical connection: this claim doesn’t absolve Mulkey’s actions; it damns them. In your mind she told Koval and did it anyway? And that’s OK with you?

Of course I'm ok with it. A coach shouldn't not recruit a player over political reasons. She showed plenty of respect to Kova during the entire process but she has to do her job. If getting this player helps LSU that's what she should do.
She'll probably have 5 more in the next 5 years. May as well bounce now.
quote:

it's that Mulkey was dumb enough to believe that her and Ukrainian player would be besties like it's a Disney movie and not the deadliest European conflict since WW2.

This is just made up. The fact that she went to the player before proceeding with the recruitment shows she knew the player may not be ok with it. Yes she had hoped they would coexist but it's very clear that she knew it might not happen.

some people simp for anything. Here’s a yaw yaw, fricking stupid

umm, ok.
quote:

LSU fans want this to be an age based thing, when in reality it's a signed a professional contract thing.

it's an ineligible thing, and neither scenario would have ever been allowed 10 years ago. so while i agree the system is completely broken, lets not pretend lsu has done half of what ole miss did. they cheated to get one of the best players in football back.
quote:

well for one, it is so hypocritical to make such a huge fuss about the players who had no idea they had eligibility and then decided to come back before playing any actual NFL games but completely ignore/forget about Chambliss who had a local judge give him a 6th year of eligibility for being "sick".

yeah ole miss changed the rules to get a heisman candidate an extra year he shouldn't have. and i'm supposed to care that lsu (and other schools mind you) are doing the same thing with guys who didn't make an NFL team and will have 2% the impact Chambliss will have on games?

Yeah sorry, not happening.
