Come on now

This is even bad for you

Sankey was added to the lawsuit in Baton Rouge court after the SEC stated their rules pertaining to all this. You can say it was the players all you want but no one sees it that way. Especially not Sankey.

The SEC federal lawsuit came about later..

It was very dumb for LSU to do all this towards Sankey by themselves. They should have had other schools on their side.

I'm quite sure my feelings have nothing to do with what is going on. But go ahead and unload your anger on me if it makes you feel better.

Report: The SEC has scheduled a meeting Thursday to decide whether to terminate LSU’s membership in the conference.

You better hope he has some proof.

Nope and they never will as long as they are in this conference..

News flash, 80% of the roster are professional players, or at least future pros.

It was kind of stupid of LSU to add him to the lawsuit.

LSU was not a party to the lawsuit.

It was just originally the NCAA when the suits were filed by the players. Then the SEC restated rules and the players added the SEC to the lawsuit.

LSU hasn't sued anyone, nor have they broken any rules.

If you think it's prudent to kick a charter member that is a big national draw for ratings out because of a joke made at halftime to Holly Rowe, then I don't know what to tell you.

LSU didn't do anything to Sankey. They were not part of the lawsuit. How hard is that for this board to understand? My lord.

Let’s hope the school leaders aren’t as emotionally unstable as LSU haters on this board

What did our local judge say about that?

Why do you think proof is needed? Do you think freedom of association requires concrete proof/evidence for disassociation?

They, as an institution, have proven they don’t have any respect for this conference or its member institutions.

I personally had very little, but not zero. It's trending towards zero, now though. I'm actually hoping y'all do vote us out at this point. We're set up well right now to go independent and sign a huge tv deal that won't have to be shared with the rest if this pussy conference.

We can re-examine conference membership in about a decade when current conferences dissolve and a super conference takes their place.

You all obviously care, it's apparent in the posts here.

I would be shocked if you were kicked out. But that's also because I expect LSU to get in line. If you don't, then I hope LSU is kicked out and I will laugh my arse off until the day I die about it.

First one in Tuscaloosa gave him a TRO and he played in 6 games over 10 days. The SEC and Sankey said they disagreed with this publicly and he shouldn't be allowed to play.

The TRO expired and was not extended/restated and he stopped playing without that protection.

Nothing happened to Alabama.

I don’t have to hope for anything. I don’t care about any of this. Just calling it as I see it.

Sankey is a lot like Lane. Except for one area. Sankey is the boss of the SEC.

You can be defensive all you want and twist things to make you feel better if you like.

I said from the start of all this it’s extremely stupid for LSU to be going against Sankey in such a fashion on their own.

If Texas couldn't pull it off long term, LSU sure as hell won't be able too.

Go find anywhere in any lawsuit where LSU is named plaintiff against the SEC or Sankey. Then get back to us. Just because he got made a fool of on the stand last week, and now getting his feelings hurt because of a sarcastic remark, does not make any good reasons to blow up the league and set up the SEC for major risks of many future lawsuits. Spurrier would have had a lot more to say about Sankey and league than CLK after last week's fiasco. This is bush league and Sankey needs to go. He's already shown his incompetence as a leader and is only further proving it.
