SEC teams who I think truly deserved to be national champs, but aren’t

1966 Alabama (laughable snub)

1974 Alabama (no probation, tough schedule, played and lost extra game)

1975 Alabama (lost early, deserved a split)

1983 Auburn (didn’t lose to Florida)

2004 Auburn (deserved a split)

And if 1974 Alabama didn’t deserve their title due to record, then 1993 Auburn did

Let me know if I missed anybody

2011 LSU at least deserved a split.

That ‘90 Tennessee loss has to keep them out

Wrong.

Got run out of their building in the only game that mattered.

That was a neutral site game against a team we had already beat on THEIR home field, and we actually won our conference.

I'll raise you one...

1964 Arkansas deserved it over Alabama full stop no split

Why did your team lose the only game that mattered that year?

Was 84 the BYU year when they hardly played anybody? We were definitely the best team at the end of the year. 85 we screwed ourselves with that early tie to a bad Rutgers team.

Winning the SEC mattered back then.

So did beating you guys on your own field.

Oklahoma State fricking up aside, youre actually a retard if you dont thank the stars aligning for your team being there in the first place.

The fact that coonass fans cling to this makes me smile.

I’m not going back to look at all the others but Auburn for sure deserved a shot at it. Definitely one of the biggest BCS failures, though I’d still support it over what we have, now.

Nobody deserves a national championship that they don't already have, but for fun and with your "tough schedule", "snub" comments, 2008 Texas (as a split).

#1 Florida's only loss was to 9-4 Ole Miss at home. #2 Texas's only loss was to 11-2 Texas Tech on the road.
UF and UT both won BCS bowl games. We both beat OU by 10 at a neutral site.

I will never understand this one. How do you go undefeated at the highest level and not be deemed national champs? CFB was/is stupid sometimes.
