Damn the Aggies basically print money..as does Texas.
Amazing the last National Title in Football by either was in 2005....1970 was the last one before that.
It is utterly insane they have done so little in NIL times.

That is about 310,000. The state population is 23 million +.
Say people live to be 80 on average, so 4 years is 5% of that.
5% of 23+ million is about 1,150,000 cllege aged population.
That would be around 30% in those colleges. That doesn.t sound unreasonable on its face. Somebody can correct me.
Florida's population has about doubled in 40 years. You are either going to need 2x as many schools or twice as large ones or some combo.

There is no proof that Saban and Bama drove up enrollment at other SEC schools. The OP also made no claim of that either? BigDgator just listed the school's enrollment numbers. Some Bama fan just said that it was all because of Saban, and I said there have been other sports dynasties that did not create conference-wide enrollment rates to increase so drastically, so saying "Saban" isn't reason enough to explain enrollment numbers. Are you retarded or just illiterate or both?

There is one thing I will never forget when I was on the MSU campus...
And that was how I felt I had room to breathe. Still plenty of open areas and space. There weren't parking garages everywhere that there wasn't a building.
One of the few campuses still like that.

This is the saddest trend I've seen over the last couple of decades. All just generic looking high rise crap. It has just ruined the ambiance of many campuses.
West University district in Austin is now nothing but that stuff. Texas Tech has a whole district just east of campus that came up out of nowhere. A bunch of five story condos with retail in the bottom.
I went to Notre Dame about 15 years ago... and they were building that crap up just across the street south of campus. Where is this beautiful old campus with the Golden Dome facing these two sets of condos with stores in the bottom of them.
I am grateful that at OU... that stuff is not happening right next to campus. There is one street... Jenkins.. NE of campus where they are doing some scaled down projects that fit the neighborhood... but other than that... the five story projects are pretty much located away from the main part of campus and on the other side of the OU golf course.

I have to chuckle inside when I hear parents tell me their kid is going to Auburn because Alabama is too big and they would get just get lost in the crowd there. I know 7k is good many students but is there really a huge difference between 42k and 35k students?

Spurs, Warriors, Yankees, UCONN basketball (mens and womens), LSU baseball, Lady Vols Basketball, Oklahoma Softball, Patriots, etc
The OP never even mentions Saban, some Alabama fan randomly brought that up.
There is no proof that Saban is the reason for increased enrollment at SEC schools, nor has anyone in this thread besides one Alabama fan even made that assertion.

My kid turned down Florida to go to Ole Miss, looks like a good call. That is far too many.
Was top 10% in Texas, so could have done Texas A&M as well, but did not even apply after visiting. Depressing campus, no charm.
