Recent Alabama 18 wheeler crash
The coach killed in this crash was on his way to meet my brother. Shocked that more people didn't die.

Not any later than normal. Max of four games each day. Last game originally scheduled for today (Wednesday) has been bumped to Thursday.

Alabama's is beautiful along University Blvd and the Quad, but, after that, their campus is crammed with very little greenspace.
You obviously aren't familiar with the north side of campus which includes Shelby Quad, Bryce Campus and Manderson Park along the Black Warrior River.

Alabamas campus was modeled after UVA.
That was the original campus design but most of those buildings were destroyed during the Civil War. The location of the rotunda was where the stairs and plaza are in front of the library on the quad. The plaza shows the outline of the foundation.

While I don't think Vandy's campus is ugly, I don't understand how it makes any most beautiful list.

It’s practically still April (or, at least it was when seniors finished).
Does Bama just kinda go “close enough” on these things?
It's always been the first weekend in May but is was not the actual commencement though. There isn't a central ceremony as there are several spread out over the weekend. They are quick affairs with the graduates marching in, the president making a few remarks and then the graduates receiving their diplomas.

I love Propofol too, but four in a few weeks may be excessive.
It's actually 4 over a period of 14 years. One one due to a really bad case of diverticulitis about 6 years ago. Ended up having about 18 inches of my colon taken out. Have had a few polyps removed but luckily no positive cancer biopsies.

Get it done. I'm having my fourth one in a few weeks.

The US Corp of Engineers actually built Wilson Dam before TVA was created.

Would like to see it just so that I don't hear "between the anus and genitals" like I did when I walked into the break room this morning.

There is a charitable mileage deduction that you can possibly take advantage of if you itemize. It's 14 cents per mile.

There used to be one close to the top of Red Mountain near The Club. Walked in as it had pretty high ceilings so no crawling was involved. Its entrance was covered several years ago. At Red Mountain Park West of Homewood, there are several open mine entrance and vents. They're covered with fencing to prevent entry. I do quite a bit of trail running there and the cooler air they emit is really nice in the summer.

And like clockwork Spann is doing the “Good morning to everyone but this guy” thing this morning where he goes engagement fishing by doxxing people who call him out. He does it literally after every storm.
Kinda hard to dox someone if their name is blurred. Would you have been happier if a tornado had hit your house? I was thankful all I got was some rain.
re: Nomination thread is over. Please go to the voting thread.

There are obviously some Black Belt counties in Alabama that should make the list. I'm thankful that my home county of Sumter is not one of them. We're fortunate that most of our elected officials are competent people even if they're all Democrats. The board of registrars could also teach lessons on how to keep a voter roll clean and up to date.

To qualify as an everything school you have to at least played in a bowl game.

re: Has anyone here donated plasma?
Posted by WRhodesTider on 1/29/25 at 3:24 pm
I donate periodically at the Red Cross facility in Bham and they call me daily wanting me. You can do it about every two weeks. I would do it more often but it takes about three hours and isn't an exactly pleasant experience. It's not too painful but if you're hydrated too much, you can't go to the restroom. If your not hydrated enough, it makes the process more difficult.

The road to my farm in Sumter county is horrible. That area was once the shoreline of a shallow sea during the Cretaceous period. There are some type of mussel that is about 6-7" wide that is over 100 million years old that I disk up almost every year. There is a place a few miles north of me called Shark Tooth Creek that after every rain you can go into and find hundreds of shark teeth..
Your place is obviously in North Sumter. The Black Belt causes all kinds of problems. I-20/59 from Livingston to the Tombigbee was originally concrete but was replaced with asphalt. Our place is in South Sumter which is sandier.

According to Facebook it is. I referred to myself as being white trash and was put on probation. :)
