Why is it that only the Protestant branch of Christianity affirms gay marriage? Maybe Sola Scriptura isn’t all it’s cracked up to be?

The Orthodox church is the original church. The Pope during the Great Schism of 1054 was the first Protestant.

Nah. Christianity has been growing in Russia exponentially since the fall of the Soviet Union. The traditional family unit and traditional gender roles are also promoted. They also don’t cater to the alphabet crowd like we do in the west.

Give me an example of someone getting thrown out of a window in Russia for praying. I’ve given you an example of Smith-Conner getting arrested in Britain for praying.
