Everyone has their own criteria. But ROI is usually a smart criteria to use.
Ole Miss certainly has a more charming campus than A&M (or Florida), I guess.
Just like an Art History degree is certainly more charming than an Engineering degree.

Fairly impressive when you consider the campus is crowded onto one mountain top and surrounded by a rapidly developing Fayetteville.
The state as a whole is odd when it comes to higher education. You can't turn around without running into a college or small university.

I don't know what to tell you. You can contact the writer directly to challenge his numbers. Does 2,000 students make much difference when you are talking about 40k?

The numbers for LSU looked off by a couple of thousand. I believe LSU last fall was at 43,000. This year's (2026) class has over 9,000 freshmen

Sorry to offend, just pointing out that the numbers you referenced for LSU are incorrect.
If incorrect for LSU, then likely off for the other schools.
The subject of your post is about enrollment numbers. So yes, being off by a couple of thousand kind of does matter in the context of your post.

Not offended at all, just pointing out that you are splitting hairs off of data that is probably not going to be completely accurate.
