Only Kirby Smart & Clark Lea have had unprecedented success at their schools

#12 Peg Leg Pete Goldberg.

How long does he last in the ravaged, pillaged and plundered Village of Oxfordshire?

Three years maximum.

It'll be Matt Luke 2.0 by Year 3.

Massa Wife Alumnus Judge Billie Bob threw Massa Wife a lifeline for this season with a "Sinus Infection" now being considered a lawful reason for granting the Massa Wife QB' another season of eligibility.

Massa Wife fans should be thankful to Lane Kiffin for loaning the Massa Wife football team all those coaches for the CFP run.

Massa Wife would be the reigning National Champions if dumbass Keith Carter would have let Kiffin and the entire staff finish out the season.

Im not sure what Elko has done to be higher than Heupel.

Elko is .730 as Aggies head coach in only 2 seasons, Heupel is .692 across 5.

Both made the playoff, Heupel got stomped harder.

I'll never understand why people rank Sark so highly. The average coach when gifted Sark's rosters would have had similar results, if not better.

Not sure about the logic of ranking sumrall 3 spots higher than Golesh

I’d put him, Golesh, stein and Silverman as tied for last since none have any P4 HC experience

Heupel has:
-more double-digit win seasons as a HC than Elko (4 > 1)
-more ranked finishes than Elko (5 > 1)
-more top 10 finishes than Elko (2 > 1)
-more bowl wins than Elko (3 > 1)
-a higher winning percentage as a HC than Elko (.723 > .686)
-Heupel's most wins in a season are 12, Elko's are 11
-Heupels highest ranked finish is 6, Elko's is 8
-Heupel's highest CFP ranking is 1, Elko's is 3

So basically, Elko has had 1 good season, which isn't even as good as Heupel's best season at Tennessee or UCF.

Heupel lost on the road to the National Champion as the underdog. Elko lost at home as the betting favorite.

Once again, Sidewalk Queer proves she knows nothing.

Stein is too high and Venerables is too low.

If Deboer doesn't start having a better prepared team and at least win an SEC championship and NC soon his days are numbered.

He was handed a Rolls Royce that is now starting to breakdown a lot. Still a Rolls but not being taken care of.

Making the national title game is considered "nothing" now?

Because he pretty much inherited that team from Saban.

He is no Saban. I don't like Saban at all anymore . He could have been Governor of La. but chose to leave and end up at the one place he knew he couldn't go and went anyway.

He lost his legacy at LSU the day he agreed to be Bama coach.

Call it bad apples or whatever but Louisiana people don't forgive or forget.

He knew what it meant and did it anyway.

Bama is going to be lower tier in a few years.

Um, what?

He made the national championship game as the head coach of Washington in 2023.

It's literally the reason he was hired at Alabama.

I get it, you're coping that he’s a dud. I’ve seen this movie many times - the most recent example were my LSU friends telling me that Brian Kelly was that guy and you just had to “give him more time.”

Golding may or may not be the long term answer for ole miss but he’s won two playoff games as a HC and should be higher than quite a few names ahead of him in the list

Golding hasn't coached a full season as a head coach, so I understand his placement on this list.

At Alabama yes, this ranking is obviously taking their entire careers into account

The Rolls Royce was stripped by bandits before he got the keys.

In 4 years as a P4 coach, Deboer has 2 playoff appearances. He has more playoff appearances and playoff wins than all but three SEC programs - Georgia (5), Oklahoma (5) and Texas (2).

If you consider just his two seasons at Alabama he has as many or more CFP appearances than 12 of 16 SEC football programs.

There are some aggressively stupid people here who wishcast entirely too much.

Agree but it’d still put him ahead of Sumrall and probably Beamer at 10

I would have Clark Lea a few spots higher but not a crazy list.

Any effort to zoom in would keep you from posting this.

He’s doing a fine job.
