BV should be higher than Drink
Golding may or may not be the long term answer for ole miss but he’s won two playoff games as a HC and should be higher than quite a few names ahead of him in the list

Interesting that the guy in 9th place made the playoffs last year ahead of 7 others.

I get Will Stein being at the bottom as a first time HC, but I think that was a sneaky good hire, provided UK gives him a budget to work with.

Im not sure what Elko has done to be higher than Heupel. However i wouldnt argue too much with the list

Questionable but it’s not the worst thing on the list. I guess you can say that Elko has never lost to Billy Napier and that so doing was enough of a ding against Heup to rank him lower

Lets not act like Elko didnt lose to Auburn and Freeze

He'll have an insanely tough schedule next season but he's been hitting the recruiting trail pretty hard and bringing in some dudes on both sides of the ball. Looking forward to see the progression.

quote:Good point but that was his first season, whereas Heupel was year 3 or 4 when he lost to Gaypier. Plus that’s not as bad as losing to Florida during the Napier era

Yes it is. Napier had 1 winning season at Florida. Hugh Freeze never had a winning season at Auburn

Only response is that Auburn actually has standards and fired freeze before he had a chance to have a winning season his 3rd year (he was 4-5, similar
To Gaypier in his 3rd year when he lucked into a Gasparilla Bowl championship against our current coach)

Pure coaching results Clark Lea may be low unless they are giving all the credit to Pavia

Yeah, so far Stein is batting .1000. Mark my words, he's going to turn some heads this season.

Venables built one of the best defenses in CFB and won 10 games in the SEC while making the playoffs but drinkpiss and other coaches who can’t win 10 games are better?

You may want to check your decimal place.
