All the LSU fans who let their vaginas bleed about Bediako - ok with this?

This is interesting as it's supposedly against SEC rules for this type of player to transfer.

If you become a professional, you shouldn’t be allowed to return to college. It’s pretty simple.

I felt the same way about Bediako.

The rules are made in state court. LSU isn't worried about SEC rules because they know they can beat the SEC in a Louisiana courtroom

I think there should be exceptions for these guys that would have otherwise had a chance to play an additional year with the new 5 for 5 ruling...it is too bad the ruling occurred this late in the game.

I've had a bit of the opposite take. Something has to be done to force real change in college athletics. The more stuff like this happens, the more I feel like it may actually force some good to happen. I kinda had the same reaction to Chambliss.

Different situation. A guy like Wright wasn't aware that he had another year of eligibility until the recent ruling.

He signed a professional contract. At that point, his eligibility should be up.

This isn’t even a matter of where he signed. The sport is a clown show at this point. Suited up for the Browns yesterday and will be suited up for LSU within a few weeks.

That's how most fans see it.

The courts won't view it that way though. Players are going to have to become employees so we can get some actual rules in place. Until then, all of this will be at the discretion of the courts.

This remains stupid and shouldn’t be allowed.

Not at all angry. Rulings and signings like this are killing the collegiate game and making fans lose interest. It won’t happen overnight but if it doesn’t stop all collegiate sports will suffer because of it.

Bediako hadn’t used up his eligibility either.

Wright had also signed a contract

It’s literally the same thing, but please find a way to defend it cause it’s LSU

Feels like fair game.

Why do you care? You are talking about LSU and Lame Kiffin is the HC. Alabama should have no problem beating LSU this season.

Bediako was aware he had eligibility remaining, Wright wasn't. That's the key element you're missing in this situation.

I don't like it anymore than anyone else, but it'd be dumb to pretend you don't understand why it's happening.

I have my doubts as to how effective a player like Wright would even be after missing fall camp and having no chemistry with the rest of the team.

Also interested to see how far conference rules would go to block something like this.
