It doesn't have to be a written rule anywhere and shouldn't be. But LSU thus far has not allowed 9 and 5 to be worn while waiting to ensure those numbers deserve to be retired. The only reason 5 is no longer under consideration is bc some kid whined about it. That's pretty disrespectful IMO from Pickett and LSU. But I'll admit Jayden looks just as bad right now

Jerseys are retired at LSU, not numbers. The numbers can be, and are re-used. Only number “retired” is 20. Not sure if that is official or what the deal is with that one though.

Saban saying it’s the best football job in America

So he just takes Saban’s opinion on that over Marty Smith and McGee?

This is an attempted smear on an accomplished Texas Legislator and on a Christian man and a scholar, with a law degree from UT and a master's degree in education from Harvard. It's an age-old tactic to denigrate a fine man who has political differences from your own, as "crazy", "insane", "retarded", "impaired", etc. There's no evidence Talarico is impaired at all-- au contraire his one-minute ads hit the spot with many Texans

Do you think he would join Fetterman as the ONLY dem senator to vote against the leftist once in a blue moon? Or would he clip Schumer’s toenails like the rest of them? He will lose because a vote for him is a vote for Schumer.

they would not have allowed it in the constitution

It’s nowhere in the constitution. It’s the judicial branch of government deciding that their fellow feds can override our rights for “the greater good”. I’m sure mandatory audio / video camera placement in appliances… maybe even light bulbs eventually, would allow the government to prosecute a rapist. A deputized citizen stationed in your home could help prosecutors as well. Funny how counter arguments stating how prevalent the surveillance state has already become is supposed to make US feel like idiots. The ruling about no expectation of privacy in public is about a citizen’s privacy vs a fellow citizen’s right to observe in public. Remember, the supreme court also ruled that government (police) can lie to you in their “investigations”, but see what happens if you get caught lying to government. Tail wagging the dog.

Ramming a stolen vehicle you’re trying to recover doesn’t make sense to me kind of like shooting someone so they don’t commit suicide.

The government has ZERO respect for property and rights of citizens. Tail is wagging the fricking dog.
I saw about 5 minutes of Chris Carter’s podcast where his lackey sidekick asked him if Drew Brees was a top 5 QB of all time. He said no, he couldn’t put him ahead of Brady (I get that), Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, John Elway, Dan Marino, Warren Moon… maybe one or two others. Good thing statistics are objective.

Drew Brees ranks second all-time in NFL history in career passing yards (80,358), passing touchdowns (571), and pass completions (7,142), trailing only Tom Brady in those major categories. He also ranks third all-time in career completion percentage at 67.7%.

Major Passing Rankings

Passing Yards: 2nd (80,358 yards)
Passing Touchdowns: 2nd (571 TDs)
Pass Completions: 2nd (7,142 completions)
Pass Attempts: 2nd (10,551 attempts)

Historic Records & Milestones

5,000-Yard Seasons: Holds the NFL record with five individual seasons passing for over 5,000 yards.

Consecutive Games with a TD: Previously held the record with 54 straight games with a touchdown pass.

Single-Season Completion %: Set a record 74.4% completion rate during the 2018 season. 2nd place is also Drew Brees at 74.3%.

Doesn’t bother me one bit, my man. Just responding to the sun protection thing. You good?

That isn’t what they are wearing though. The majority of coaches are wearing sweatshirt hoodies. Cold weather gear.

Sounds like you should file a complaint if it bothers you so much… or insist on speaking to the manager. :dunno:
It’s for sun protection. I wear similar doing work around the yard in this heat. Strange I had never heard of these “fishing hoodies” until a few months ago. They are awesome.

SEC is not what it used to be

Big 10 isn’t what the SEC used to be either. College football interest among the other conferences is creeping back up though.

If Louisiana politicians and lawyers huddled together to “revolutionize” college athletics finances, get a case of Kirkland popcorn at Costco and sit back and enjoy. They will come up with something to make private equity look like consumer utopia.

We really need a Tigers in the Pros Board where we can have topics about former Tigers and keep the Rant about current LSU topics. Just a thought

 You know we don’t “really need” yet another board for that.
The entire judicial branch of government, at all levels, has become a joke. It is their doing… due to the wholesale lack of judicial restraint. It sucks. People are using that to get their way, including politicians. Once politicians realize that their power has been compromised, they will neuter the judiciary. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Sad.
