LSU being #1 should be a dead giveaway. #CommonSense

Then maybe next year, they can be ranked lower than #1. Right now, they are the best program in the SEC and the nation

So was Coastal Carolina the best program in the nation 3 years ago because they won the CWS? It's been two whole years since Florida was right where Vandy is this year. Florida returned to the CWS last year (their 4th straight). I'm sorry, but one year does not completely change the entire value of a program. Vanderbilt is easily a top 5 program in the country right now, but there is certainly a difference between best team and best program.

However, the OP was pretty clearly ranking programs all-time.

You are a fcking imbecile if you think that Tennessee is 11th with Vitello as the head coach.

We’re talking all time, dude.

Vitello still hasn’t done anything to warrant the Love you give him. Sure, he made UT respectable but as an overall program throughout the years UT is hot garbage juice.

Vanderbilt will take a step back next year just like Florida did this year with the talent that is bound for the MLB.

A step back from the dominant team this year but not the big step back that Florida took this year.

While this year did suck arse. UofSC were in a super regional last year.

We’re bleeding in the ditch but not dead yet.

If only we had the best pitching staff in America.

I am talking all time here, but with an emphasis on recent success.

Ok, that makes more sense I guess.

Even the biggest Alabama hater wouldn't be able to say they are #13 all-time with a straight face (Willy not withstanding).

I guess I could have worded that a little better.

How about wobbling a bit? Currently coasting? Not scaring LSU anytime soon?

Not that this helps, but I didn’t rank LSU and I have them above Vitello. So really 12th.

The back 5 make no sense at all. While five of these are very closely packed together, there is a very clear order here:

8) Missouri
*1 National Title
*6 World Series Appearances
*22 NCAA Tournament Appearances

9) Georgia
*1 National Title
*6 World Series Appearances
*10 NCAA Tournament Appearances

10a) Ole Miss
*5 World Series Appearances
*23 NCAA Tournament Appearances

10b) Alabama
*5 World Series Appearances
*23 NCAA Tournament Appearances

12) Auburn
*5 World Series Appearances
*22 NCAA Tournament Appearances

13) Tennessee
*4 World Series Appearances
*10 NCAA Tournament Appearances

14) Kentucky
*0 World Series
*7 NCAA Tournament Appearances

Obviously Tennessee and Kentucky are way behind the others.

Mizzou has history, I will give them that, but in comparison their program is no where near as strong as Mississippi. History matters, but not nearly as much as the current strength of the program.
