My step mother is in an assisted living facility. She doesn't drive but she was able to get handicap placards for me and my brother to use when taking her to appointments/grocery store etc.
Mine stays in the glove box until I use it for her but I guarantee a good portion of these are being abused.
When I take her to the grocery store or Sams the handicap spots are almost always full. It's bullshite.
