I think TC is dynamic enough to make 26’ a very good season for yall. Adding the run support from KL will only help. The offensive philosophy should stay the same or very similar to what they are already used to. If everyone else can do their jobs, then those 2 alone will make plays.

We will see how he is without Chambliss. That kid is by far the best QB in the SEC. Nobody else remotely in his class

I like the way he handles things, and he is a good coach. You're going to be really good this year, and you're capable of winning every game on the schedule. That's just the honest truth.
I think you're going to be really good in '27. Deuce Knight will develop and learn more this year. He is going to be great if he progresses in the passing game. He is scary good running the ball.
Other LSU fans can get butt hurt all they want. I'm a realist without .05% Coors Light flowing through my veins all of the time. As long as Pete and the rest of the staff recruits well and the money is flowing in to sustain it, Ole Miss isn't going anywhere.
Hell, I went to school at State, and I would play for Pete at Ole Miss. I like his no nonsense personality. Plus, he is from Louisiana.
This season will be awesome with the competition and story lines. I also think it would be hilarious if Ole Miss and LSU wound up playing one another again in Atlanta. The amount of butt hurt from the other schools would make the recent Taco Bell explosions look mild in comparison.

I think the biggest issue is how they respond to the result of the LSU game. It's circled on their schedule. They are practicing with the intent of beating us. They have been obsessed about it, and the media has been pushing that.
So they lose to LSU, and then do they shut down or motivate them to keep winning to see us again later.
So they beat LSU. Got their revenge on Lane... Does that motivate them to push on or do they take a step back in intensity the next game or two.
I compare it to LSu vs Bama in those earlier meetings with Saban. We would often see a lower intensity game next. Win or lose. With a lost, we would be towards the end of the schedule though and could limp on through with only a couple more games that were tough. Ole Miss will have most of its season ahead of them.

He's a smart guy, but he looks like he lives on the street. I've lost touch with his coaching style, but he was a rubber stamp when he coached for us. Great against pro-style offenses, and chasing his tail against HUNH spread teams.
I strongly believe that Golding will finally get a chance to play to his defensive strengths. Maybe we all get a chance to see what that looks like, for once.

The media pushing a narrative doesn't necessarily mean the team is focused on it. They were a play away from playing in the natty last year.

Ole Miss still has some talented pieces with Chambliss and Lacy. Whether the OC can use those pieces effectively is a legitimate question.

I think OM as a program has elevated their floor in this era. But I’m skeptical on the ceiling post-Kiffin.
I kinda expect him to live in the 6 to 8 win range for the most part and OM will have to decide if they’re good with that or if expectations are higher for that program now.
I really don’t know what to make of this year’s OM. Obviously Chambliss and Lacy are great starting points and they have some good pieces on defense. I feel like they’ve got a really intriguing September. The LSU game is the obvious big one but opening against Louisville on a neutral field and playing at Florida the week after LSU. You can sell me on them starting 4-0 but I think you don’t have to squint too hard to see a world where they start 2-2 and instead of discussing the Playoff in October and November you’re discussing the Reliaquest Bowl.
