I thought you were kidding, but 18-3 in conference and 34-10 overall is no slouch. Still don’t love the scoring inconsistency - even when we score 6+ it is heavily concentrated in a single inning which can come back to bite you.

I know we’re in the Inspire Hope phase, because I’m slowly convincing myself that Elliot + Morris and Maddox + Spencer can get us to Omaha lol. Just need Nichols to be good for 1 afternoon in a regional final against another team’s 4th best pitcher.

Any losses in a regional or super though and it is game over.

Win all 5 series we have left or lose 1 and sweep 1 and I think 19 SEC wins gets you a top 8 seed this year. Yeah it hurts, but so did the UF, UK, and Arkansas losses. The important thing is we didn’t get swept and all 3 games came down to the last out.

To be fair, we are a razors edge from being 4-8 so I think we have reason to be down. But also not that far from 11-1 so 8-4 seems reasonable.
