Why is everyone worried about Belgium, they aren't that good.
Because they’re exactly the squad full of excellent, experienced (if a bit over the hill players) that could take us apart.

Until they change the rules. They look over to the sideline and just drop. Whatever it takes to slow down the up tempo offenses though.
Was about to come post what is football going to do but you did it much better
re: How the frick you lose to Türkiye????

Meaningless game and TBF Turkey has individual some players who are much higher rated than ours (Yildiz, Guler)who were obviously still playing their asses off.

re: Who y’all pulling for other than the US?
Posted by St Augustine on 6/25/26 at 6:34 pm to JerryTheKingBawler
My mother in law is from Brazil and goes back multiple times a year so my kids all have Brazil kits lol. I don’t particularly love their players but I do enjoy watching her watch their games with my kids.
Other than that I’m pulling for all my Sunderland players. Brobbey, Xhaka, and Angullo have all scored, and Sadiki has gotten significant time for Congo.

re: How far away do you live from your nearest nice salt water beach?

9-11 minutes in northern palm beach county. Most weekends. Or Friday evenings with the kids.

Anyone threatening to kick people’s asses for no reason is a shite human dude.

I’ve always thought of the Patriot as a much shittier version of Braveheart. Still entertaining but nowhere near the same class.

I mean to be fair Gibbs is the only guy listed who ran sub 4.40 at their combine
I mean to be fair BTJ ran a 4.33 and Jonathan Taylor 4.39.

I've never watched this dude play a single second of soccer but I doubt very seriously that he would touch even a 4.4 40

Erling Haaland has been officially clocked at a staggering top speed of 36.5 km/h (approx. 22.7 mph). At 6'4", this elite pace makes him one of the fastest players in world football, combining his massive physical frame with explosive acceleration
quote:
The fastest recorded top speeds by ball-carriers in recent NFL action include the following top performances:Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts): 22.38 mph on a 43-yard reception.Jahmyr Gibbs (Detroit Lions): 22.34 mph on a 42-yard rush.Brian Thomas Jr. (Jacksonville Jaguars): 22.13 mph on a 46-yard reception.TreVeyon Henderson (New England Patriots): 22.01 mph on a 55-yard touchdown rush.Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles): 21.87 mph on a 28-yard rush.
Well you’d be wrong. He’s easily a 4.4 guy and likely sub 4.4 at that. But it’s a good thing you qualified that you’ve never watched him.

Did you just compare a soccer player to the most physically gifted tight end ever to play ball?
Well Haaland is a significantly faster and explosive athlete than gronk so there’s that.

Put him on some weight training and he would be a faster Gronk. Play for a Texas team and I doubt a Texas court would domesticate a judgment against him for breach. Just need to change those pesky bylaws. Probably big tax advantages for him and he gets out of the bad weather
Yeah I’m sure he’d give being a global celebrity and arguably the best player in the world currently to play for a Texas nfl team.

I don’t think a lot of people realize just how prone to arrhythmia a lot of exceedingly healthy people can become when doing elite levels of cardio. Especially as you start to push into your 40s.
