I am pretty much done with Cam
I know he’s beloved and all but outside of his play he’s been annoying for quite awhile.
I think he’s just being dramatic about not being “loved” by the organization and all that shite per his usual. Basically his career has gone on for so long that now the organization doesn’t see him as a hero.

I’m 45 and a millennial and am on my second house
There are plenty of us with kids in middle to high school and houses grinding through the busy parts of life. This idea that all millennials are working 18 hours a week at Starbucks is funny.

Most places besides us sell like crazy. The oasis crowds in Europe and South America were insane. Other continents seem to just “care” more probably because supply isn’t there.

We have a solid coaching staff, a young QB that showed he can ball, added some weapons on offense, a defense that returns a lot of big contributors that was playing very well to end the season and added some pieces, an offensive line that if healthy is at minimum serviceable (arguably a piece away from being good), and most importantly a crap division with the second easiest schedule. I don't think it is unreasonable at all to think 11 wins is realistic. Now we may not make a deep playoff run, but that is certainly on the horizon.
This is a ton of a projection. It is in no way a certainty that we have a pending deep playoff run any more than Shough coming back down to earth and settling in as a mid tier qb. They’re all still well within the range of outcomes and we simply don’t know yet unfortunately.

For a while ESPN produced banger after banger promos. Whoever the creative team was is truly missed.

Saying 11 is the floor, as someone did in this thread, is a bit delusional as the team/Moore/Shough still need to prove who they are. But 10+ is not out of the realm of possibilities
Completely agree. >11 or <7 I think are the big outliers barring injuries. But I can see anywhere from 7-10 pretty easily.

Those posters are the exact same thing as progressives on twitter circa 5 years ago, simply the flip side of the coin. The behavior is highly similar and they just lack the self awareness to realize it.

I'll say it again for the people in the back. A virus that kills 40% of it's hosts, requires significant contact with a sick person to transmit, and doesn't have asymptomatic transmission is not going to be a global pandemic.
Didn’t say it was?
re: Evacuation begins from virus ship

Apparently only one strain is spread by human to human contact and even that one requires prolonged contact. All the others are simply rat droppings. The ship picked up people in an area where the Rodent>human exposure was highly possible.
Given the relative difficulty of spread and long incubation period, I don’t see why they just don’t keep this tiny group of people quarantined in a nice airy place for a month given it was a long cruise anyway. Seems like you could completely eliminate any potential issues extremely easily.

Seems like gamesmanship and knowing Strickland is kind of an idiot. Chimaev seemed respectful enough.

Not saying it’s bad. But he doesn’t get the luxury of “checking out” due to a dysfunctional organization if he wouldn’t be more motivated to play for a contender IMO. Can’t have it both ways.

I dont gamble but when I saw that line I kinda wish I did. The guy’s ground game is so dominant against 99% or the competition he faces.

I’d give Olave a 4 yr 130 mil deal w 80 guaranteed and sleep comfortably. Basically a 2 yr deal w a 2 year option,,, let the young guys grow w him as the leader and when it comes time to pay Shough and others, you can make a decision on Olave
I’d feel infinitely better about any Olave deal if it had an off-ramp.

I can't totally blame him if he's a bit checked out. It's obvious that this team has floundered a bit with injuries and poor decision-making from higher ups the past 5 years. And I think Kamara knows that this is his almost certainly final year here.
Yet he also very vocally refused to be traded. The guy is pretty clearly coasting in the twilight of his career and being paid very handsomely for his meager production.

WR better athlete; …
I argue the opposite most times. You can have non elite athletes (comparatively speaking)at WR. Fantastic fundamentals, understanding of space, route running ability can all make up for non elite measurables.
At corner you’re generally exposed very quickly unless you’re one of the best tacticians in the league. There is just way less margin for error if you’re a relatively substandard athlete IMO.

It certainly has a 2006 feel to it. New names everywhere, competition at every position except qb, while our starter is an actual legit quarterback. Competent coach and coordinators. I might be delusional but think 11 is the floor.
So it has a 2006 feel to it where we won 10 games with a hall of fame qb but 11 is the floor with this group?

It’s just a concert with a bigger video wall at the end of the day, not a moon landing. No Doubt was very popular and this is a reunion of sorts.
