Y’all lucky tho
Bowden would’ve won 5-6 natties if we were in the sec during the 90s
He owned spurrier but Miami ruined our season a bunch of times
If we had that soft sec schedule and didn’t have to play Miami so often in the 90s Bowden would’ve easily surpassed Saban

I don't believe a damn thing Dellinger says without 2nd source verification.

Don't we kick your arse every year in the regular season and bowl season?
FSU whooped LSU last year
Last time we played the sec in a bowl we beat auburn for the natty
And future sec member ou feared the spear last year
Edit: and we skull drug our lil bro during rivalry week to go 2-0 vs the SEC last year

You left out 2017. The first game of the year.

"Your" would reference the ACC.
The SEC was 7-4 against the ACC in 2022.
8-3 in 2021
3-0 in 2020
8-4 on 2019
It looks like we would have to go back to 2016 for the ACC to post a better than .500 record against the SEC.
All time, the ACC has a 33.9% winning percentage against the SEC.

Since espn is not paying more for 9th game
Sec trying to save face and keeping that as a future bargaining chip
Can revisit in 25 and see how it impacts playoffs
So what does this look like, 1 permanent and 7 rotating teams and no divisions, top 2 teams play in Atlanta.

I assume it’s two 8 team divisions then. What are those?
Don't see it that way, I think it is:
1 Permanent and 7 rotating, play it for 2 years and rotate through schedule and revisit it for 2026 season.
If you go to 8 team divisions, that would mean OU and Texas in West and Mizzou moves to the West and then Bama and Auburn go East. Saban who apparently was not happy with the 3-6 (TENN, Auburn and LSU) will not get LSU but gets UGA with TENN and Auburn, along with Florida.
Seems to me this is a 1-7 format.

The SEC is doing awful with negotiating.
Sankey sold his soul to ESPN. The SEC has little power when ESPN essentially now owns the conference.

Why would I mention it?
I was talking about the most recent times we played a sec team during the regular season and in bowl games.
Our coach then is long gone and has recently beat y’all and nearly did it 2x in a row.
Makes sense that a Bama fan is living in the past with how clear it is that Saban and the tide are on the decline

Probably not.
Georgia didn't want Tech back.
Florida didn't want FSU.
South Carolina didn't want Clemson/North Carolina.
Kentucky didn't want Louisville.
It makes sense that there was a block of schools not advocating for additional in-state schools in the conference.

But...
FSU didn't want the smoke that came with the SEC either.
They chose to go with the chicken little conference for obvious reasons.

It's absolute BS, we spent 20 years trying to get FSU into the SEC. Don't get trolled by an obvious alter.

What’s funny about Texas and OU. They probably would have got in the 12 team playoff 2 out of 3 times staying in the big 12. In the SEC, maybe once ever 5 years.
They are making the same mistake that we made. Their saving grace might be NIL. Otherwise they would have been shafted just the same as Arkansas has been since 1991

How has ark been shafted?

You think Arkansas football is on the same level as OU and Texas?

They stopped playing games in Texas and dried up their recruiting pipeline. A problem Texas and OU won’t have.
