KB has had the second best offense since the year 2010 behind only Bobby. He’s about to be without a job. We need a better offense. It’s not the dumbest idea.

So South Carolina just dropped their home opener to Miss State and with their schedule I don’t know that Shane Beamer doesn’t get fired this year.
That said, what if Silverfield made a phone call to a familiar face in Kendall Briles to replace Cramsey at OC?
I personally liked Briles’ offense, but maybe I’m crazy. Something has to change on the offense though

Morris is too but our fans would never look past the name.
Lebby has surprised me. I wouldn’t have been excited about that hire BUT I think he’s getting bailed out a little bit by a great QB. Jury’s still out, but didn’t they only have 1 SEC win last year when they lucked into beating us?

Agree.
Lots of people say “Arkansas can’t afford to gamble on hires” but I don’t think we can afford not to.
An average Joe coach isn’t going to get it done here. We have to catch lightning in a bottle like we did with Petrino. Coach Prime comes to mind, even though I have outspokenly been against him in particular as im not a fan of his coaching philosophy. But he put Colorado back on the map even though they likely won’t sustain it.
That type of hire is what we will need.

I’ll get scoffed at on here but hear me out: Gruden would’ve been a good hire on paper. Splash hire that would’ve got the fanbase excited, would’ve been a national story, and he could probably manage NIL situations given his experience in the NFL.
I’m not saying he would’ve been interested (I think he would have) or that he would’ve been successful, but from a PR and NIL fundraising standpoint I think it would’ve been a great hire to get us out of the hole and back to ground zero.

We also need a proven coach that is probably past his prime but could get us back to ground zero
This is what Pittman was supposed to do and did; but HY was too stupid to force him out once he pulled us out of the hole we were in. Now we're right back in that same hole and it looks lot its gotten deeper since the last time we were in it.
The recipe to get out is the same. We just need a competent cook to make sure we dont burn the cake to a crisp this time.

It’s crazy how bad Trump has bungled this term. His first term was great (aside from shutting the country down during Covid but that’s hind sight).
