How many P5 games did they play? You left out Oregon

I’ll give you this. 2024 Georgia plays the bare minimum 8 conference games plus GT. The rest are G5.

Oklahoma was scheduled nonconference 2023.

It was crapped on when they were admitted to the SEC.

You know that.

They will be playing the same amount of games regardless.

They play Clemson and GT in 2024 and then two absolute cannon fodders in Tennessee Tech and Umass.

I will laugh when they inevitably kick the Texas AM trip off the schedule again.

Here is a little information that no one on the secrant ever seems to understand.

1) uga has zero control over our sec conference schedule. "When they inevitably kick off" would be the fine folks in Birmingam, AL.

2) each team does schedule their own OOC. And no one schedules tougher than UGA (some can argue "equal to". But none can claim tougher).

The main thing is that such tight schedules produce good results. Otherwise, it is excessive effort in the wrong place.

No divisions, 8 games is the 1-7 format

I know LSU have played some rivals longer but “The Battle of the Boot” and LSU vs A&M on Thanksgiving is pretty entertaining.

Kicking the schedule down the road. Look for Auburn-UGA and Bama-UT to survive for two years in the 1-7. Permanent will be Auburn-Alabama. Then a 9 game schedule in 2026 when we get time and more TV money.

No idea if you need this explanation or not, but the SEC took our game @ OU away which was replaced by Ball St.

Texas and Oklahoma will join the SEC West. One of the West Teams will move East. Which one?

Absolutely false. Look at our next 4 years of non conference schedules.

We just went along bc sustaining from the vote would have not changed anything.

So it appears you are laughing at the rest of the conference.

At least you admit adding you to the conference brought no value.

FYI

We are not ever going to get 5 teams in the 12 team playoff. We will always get 3. The battle will be trying to get a 4th.

6 spots are taken. So that leaves 6 for at large. We are not going to get 4 of the 6 ever.

A 9 game schedule most likely would hurt getting a 4th team in at times. Besides possibly knocking out a deserving 4th team. That 9th game most likely would lower a team that makes the playoffs ranking. So they will have to play on the road in the first round versus playing at home.

What’s funny about Texas and OU. They probably would have got in the 12 team playoff 2 out of 3 times staying in the big 12. In the SEC, maybe once ever 5 years.
