It was if we had 3-4 year self imposed probation to our program.

You can tell from this years crowds that a lot of hard feelings still exist. Literally our own worst enemies

Stricklin completely botched that hire. We were not in good shape to make a great hire, but I can never believe that Rick Ray was the best we could do.

This has a Stansbury feel to it honestly. I don’t think we can hire anyone better.

Stansbury was fired because he turned the prison over to the inmates several times. He recruited head cases and didn’t develop players. We died him because his players were on TV punching each other in Hawaii and being fat pieces of shite. We had to let him go. Ole Miss makes a habit of firing winning coaches because they think they deserve to be national champs every year. The two are nothing alike.

Saw a graphic during the game last weekend that showed his number of 20 win seasons compared to Ole Miss' total in the history of the program. I agree things have gotten stale, but who could Ole Miss get that would be better? Is it that Kennedy has gotten lazy or is he just having a dip for whatever reason? Rod Barnes was given a longer leash than Kennedy seems to be getting here. It took him 4 straight losing seasons to get the axe.

That's pretty bad when Andy Kennedy is the best coach in your programs history, lol. He never really did anything...but then again, Ole Miss has never done anything as a program. Hell, they've never done shite in any sport. It has to be tough being an Ole miss fan, but at least yall are missued state's daddy, even though they're dilusional and refuse to believe it...but everyone knows Ole Miss is better than state.

I still remember the numb feelings of realizing where our leadership was headed.

MSU went from a top 12 ranking and being talked about as a Tournament darkhorse to College Basketball wasteland in only 2 months. Surreal

The thing with AK is he'll normally win you 20 games, but his teams live and die based on the performance of just one player. This year you're seeing what happens when that one player doesn't live up to potential. I'm hoping AK gets in at the SECN. Dude is freaking hilarious. No doubt he'll land on his feet no matter what.

I just remember hearing that we hired an assistant coach. Then realizing we hired a guy from...fricking Clemson. Not an assistant with zero head coaching experience from a good program. Clemson. People couldn't even pretend to be excited.

Remember how difficult it was to even find info about the guy? Loafers could have trotted his cousin out to the press conference and nobody would have noticed

I support AK to TV announcing. He'd be fun listening to even during a rivalry matchup.

I remember there were rumors we would hire Bryce Drew and that was who I was hoping for at the time.

Yeah, but I don't think anyone knew who Rick Ray was...it was truly depressing.

AK's teams are generally very well-coached and absolutely relentless on the boards, going after loose balls, and dogging it in games to the very end. With the right conference, team, and players, he could be an even more dangerous coach.

This couldn't be further from the case this season, however.

That's cause Rodney Hood's check bounced, and Stans letting the clowns run the team. it is all stans fault. It was time for him to go... you always have a contingency plan that's the difference between loafers and Cohen. I would be terrified to be trying to build a program from mediocrity these days with the FBI investigating stuff. Best of luck to the OM crew, the time to be hiring coaches was 2-3 years ago.
