Im still waiting on lsu to cover a damn underneath crossing route....
We played like total horseshite. Both sides of the ball. Horrible play calling horrible schemes. Poor clock management. Just terrible. We got outclassed bad
Its not the greatest idea to drive a fricking car around there. If a loved one told me they were riding a bike in that area I would definitely caution them heavily on the idea.
No way, man. U mean to tell me that ole jet sweep canadian isnt coaching anywhere? He is the epitome of a shitty coach benefitting from and furthering his career due to the ridiculous amount of talent he had to utilize. He fricking sucks and always will suck as a coach.
We look unorganized and confused. Not sharp at all. Very sloppy. Thats all coaching.

Football players’ 40 yard dash times are the most exaggerated metric of all, even more than heights. And fans often refer to a tim like a 4.45 as “sub 4.4” when obviously it’s not. Pro-Day times are one thing. Let’s see it at the combine. Somehow most run a little slower at the Combine, because that’s accurate.

You do know that players are electronically timed and have been for a while now right? It's extremely accurate. They also run 40 times without pads and a helmet without being contacted/defended and they're also running in a straight line without having to think about anything else besides running as fast as they can? Their times are legit. There's just a difference between football speed and track speed, which is what 40 times are.

As far as LSUs wrs are concerned; many of them are former track champions or at least competed at a high level growing up and in hs. It's not far-fetched and is very believable that they can run the times that they've been clocked at. We are talking about some of the best athletes in the country. They're absolute freak shows that are simply blessed from birth with the abilities they have. It seems like you're comparing extremely gifted athletes to some people you're used to seeing play ball at the Y or something lol.

Nice hire. I always liked hornsby.

We've got to have the fastest WR group in CFB

Hell, I would like to see how our wr group ranks among nfl groups as far as speed is concerned. I know for a fact that we have more speed than numerous nfl teams have.

Louisiana recruits are typically highly underrated. I pay attention to this. How many players from Alabama are in the ESPN300 or top 247. Bama usually has 30% more players than Louisiana on any year in ESPN300 than Louisiana. Alabama has like 10% more people than Louisiana. However, Louisiana has like 25% more NFL players than are from Alabama.

Yeah. Recruiting sites have biases towards certain programs without question. Humans always have their favorites no matter what subject you're talking about...especially when it comes to player evaluation and certain teams. That's a fact.
Safety position. Glad we dumped sage Ryan's arse on ole miss and signed the guys we did in the portal. Should be deep at that position this year and looking forward to seeing how it affects the amount of big plays we give up this season compared to last. Looking forward to our coaches taking advantage of sage this season too knowing his weaknesses and mismatches to line up with him and exploit him.

I see safety position group improving from a c- or d last year to a b+ or a this season. Should be a huge improvement.

Also looking for big improvements from our dl and edge rushers specifically. We have alot of talent and depth at that position this season. Most we've had in the kelly era by far.
People put way too much stock into this statistic. Imo. Sure, it matters to an extent. Meaning, the more highly rated players a team has, the better chance that they have opportunities to miss on certain numbers of players and still have highly ranked players to back them up. However, it doesn't guarantee success. You have to develop said players and have a culture that breeds winning. It's more important in my opinion to develop and get the most out of the players who maybe are under the radar, were miss evaluated, and have a chip on their shoulder going into college that you're staff has evaluated and see a high ceiling in themselves and see the player fitting into a specific role in your program...rather than simply taking some recruiting sites word on a certain prospect being better than another. Players don't stop developing after they get to college and alot of blue chip players reach their ceiling in high school whereas some players develop and mature later and are late bloomers. Some of most instrumental players I can remember in LSUs natty seasons were high 3 star to low 4 star players that weren't necessarily 5 star blue chippers coming into our program.
Don't give a frick. Let's buckle it up and play.
If LSU isn't either no 1 or no 2 the list is shite. LSU has some of the best uniforms in college football, much less the SEC. So...list is shite.
Brett favre at lsu instead of southern miss.
So, you don't agree that a competent coach at LSU , with all the benefits that the job possesses, should be in the mix foe conference titles and playoff births every year? That means they won't necessarily win conference titles or make the playoffs every year but should and damn well could be in contention and be one of the top 15 teams in the country competing for a playoff spot? If you don't agree with that, we just have different perceptions and expectations of what the reality of LSU football should be. I damn sure believe that a competent coach should at least be in contention and taken seriously as one of the top 20 teams in the country that are in the conversation for a playoff spot every year. There are probably only about 10 or 15 teams in the nation that should have those kinds of expectations...I believe LSU is one of those programs and I'm sure there are plenty of others that see LSU in the same way.
Yeah. It's pretty fricking kush if you think about it. The proximity to vast amounts of elite football talent, the resources and facilities, the overwhelming and undying passion and support of Tiger nation, the culture and tradition, etc...its at the top and holds its own against any other position that is out there. If you just seriously halfway know how to run a football program you will be in the hunt for conference tittles and playoff births every damn year once you get your program, culture, coaches and players entrenched. LSU is a fricking juggernaut waiting to be called on to go dominate no matter who it is we are facing. Geaux Tigers.
If he does he does. If he doesn't he doesn't. LSU will be fine either way. He hasn't even played a down of college ball yet.
