Most of those arguments seem to center around ACC schools.

Aren't those already locked in for another decade?

I believe so. I doubt Louisville is beating down the door to leave the ACC so that won't sway UK. Ditto on Georgia and Florida I suspect. Money and schedule changes and #of conference games would though

not even sure Mizzou would vote no.

Missouri poster claimed someone with a sauce on rivals (or maybe it was 247) said they'd agreed to the additions. Their coach said he was ready to play against texas/ou anyway.

A&M may be the only no, assuming legislatures don't stop it beforehand

I think a lot of this would depend on pods/division realignment

You'd leverage your vote to get a good result there (esp UGA, for example)

Didn’t y’all just win a championship? Think it happens without 4 of those 5* guys? Maybe but probably not

Then Georgia becomes LSU. Getting blocked out by bama every year. I mean, that happens already it just won’t be in Atlanta now.

I bet A&M ends up a yes in exchange for not being stuck in the BIG12 pod. Arkansas and Missoui will be placed with OU and Texas. SEC will want 100% vote and we won't do it for free. Arkansas might like it, not so sure about Missouri.

A&M is the only one that will vote no. Missouri is the only other one with a chance but I would only put it at 10%

The only schools that would consider voting no IMO (assuming the money is where it needs to be) would be, in this order... A&M, Missouri, and Arkansas. No one else has a real reason to vote no. If the money makes sense, SEC ADs will vote yes

I'm inclined to agree, but competitively speaking I don't think this helps LSU in recruiting (The state of Texas and less so Louisiana) as it would hurt A&M probably more as well admittedly.

Geographically, that's probably what it should be anyways with A&M in a pod with LSU, Ole Miss, and State

Texas A&M would be the only no vote if it were put to a vote and with that said they may vote for Oklahoma but against Texas if they're individually considered as I suspect they are.

What about Arkansas?

30 year old bad blood isn't going to make us vote no on something that benefits us like adding TU/OU would. It undoes much of what was bad for us about the last expansion. I would be amazed and highly disappointed if we came out against this move.

The Maybes will become Yes if they like what they see from how new divisions/pods would work out.

Dude, that’s a list about as long as the nile. It’s not just about football. UT bent them over for years.

I don't think it really affects LSU good or bad in recruiting. Recruits will play for whoever is winning. They don't sign because one team is in the SEC and the other isn't. If Texas were making the playoffs and winning, they would be signing whoever they want already

Clemson plays in a trash conference against trash teams every week and has no problem getting kids to go there because they win

Yeah the pod system really kinda resolves a lot of the scheduling problems. Nobody would be mad with those pods floated on SECN this morning.

Well A&M makes more sense (A&M, OU, TX, Mizzou)

I think it will end up unanimous in yeses. Too much potential here to be pissy about losing our current advanatge.
