NIL question. When the Ncaa 24 football game comes out how do the players get paid?

Is it a flat rate to every single player? I just watched a trailer for the game and Kyle McCord is the qb for ohio state on the preview? Do they pay ohio state and they separate the money individually within the school? Do they send each and every player checks individually? I have a hard time imagining that Fresno state backup kicker makes the same as Georgia's qb.

If player want to be in the game, EA pays them. It’s a small amount but I think most players will be ok with it to see their name in a game.

I believe so. And of course the player has to agree to it, so many who feel like it isn't enough will be left out of the game.

I hope they keep recruits names TOTALLY random like they used to. I loved recruiting white 5 stars from Colorado named Ja’Bronte.

There are 133 division 1 teams, 85 scholarship player each. That's over 11000 transactions. What about walk ons that dress out? I don't see how it's practical. Especially when players move like they currently do.

Players named LSU QB #9 to avoid that

They never even needed the players name to have NCAA Football. Just randomly generate a team. Those players will be gone in no time in dynasty mode.

If remember the article I read a year ago, I believe it was $500 per player to use their likeness. The article I read complained that’s robbery and not enough for players, etc. I think it’s fine, $500 to put your last name and number on a player in a game.

I can only speak for myself, but if I were a college player I'd let them do it for free just for the cool factor alone. Of course whoever lands on the cover should get paid...but just a name, number and whatever arbitrary stats a room full of nerds want to assign? Nah, it's an honor just to be immortalized forever.

I think most of us feel that way, but there is that segment of the population that wants to make every last penny, that doesn't feel "an honor" is enough. It's hard to think they feel that way in high school, so it's coming from the people around them.

They should add code so that anyone who doesn't sign automatically is changed to be a 5'8", 250 pound guy who has light brown skin and the dumbest looking face possible in the game. They'll all have the last name "Nobody".

Not all players make the game. The old NCAA games capped the rosters at 55 players.

Players have to agree to want to be in it and reach terms with EA, otherwise they'll move on to the next player or generate a random fake player I imagine. NFL players can opt of Madden games too. I remember LaVar Arrington doing so and being replaced by "ROLB #57" for several years.

All players share equally, except TN. They get $0 because they are fricking stupid and use NIL wrong.
