Warranty ran out, time to dump
I've resigned myself to having to learn large chunks of the roster every single season.

I suggest OP and others do the same and just roll with the changes. The simple fact is roughly half the players on your roster for any given year won't be there for the next, and that will sometimes include some highly rated recruits that never saw the field wearing your school colors.

Tis what tis, can't do anything now that SCOTUS blew up the whole "amateur" thing a few years back.
Take away wins over non P4 Little sisters of the poor programs and rank again.

Double takeaway if any of those wins were over FCS programs. Lolz

Dude get a life, spend time with family, relax lol.

Posting about a regular season game against 2 middle to lower of the pack sec teams (neither are your team) is pretty pathetic.
We're talking about a fanbase that flashes everyone the horns down...from Bama to Appy State and everyone between that isn't actually big bro.

They can't help but hate us more than they love themselves, it's in the aggy DNA.

I don't have a problem with the nine-game conference schedule. It should have been that way 10 years ago. What I do have a problem with, however, is Sankey mandating that we all play at least one OOC P4 team when the Committee has indicated that they only care about W/L and not SOS.
^^ TSRH

We screwed ourselves by scheduling tOSU in addition to the 9 conference games. Sure if we beat the suckeyes it will mean a huge jump in poll ranking, but at what cost if we lose a couple starters for the season with injuries? Meanwhile * insert SEC team * is playing Southwestern Delaware School of plumbing and custodial arts the same week thereby giving their starters a break and a chance for younger players to get some game experience.

Yes, it's self inflicted, but OOC games are scheduled many years in advance.

Btw, what time is it?
It definitely isn't what it used to be, and my frame of reference is the late 90's/ early 2k's.

19 year old me got lit up by a cop for driving the wrong way through a closed Zilker Park at 11pm, and doing it in a bright red 300ZX with my drunk roomie in the lone passenger seat and a (thankfully unopened) 12 pack of beer visible in the small cargo area behind my seat.

Penalty? Being lectured on how the park was closed and I need to pay attention to one way signs. *Thank you officer!*

I hadn't started drinking yet (we were on our way to a party and my roomie convinced me to pull in Zilker so he could piss behind a tree) but even so there is no way college kids of 2026 face a cool APD officer like that. Back then it was understood college kids do dumb things, but the city itself hadn't gotten out of hand yet.
Whole lotta cope in this thread

Like a loooooooot of cope.

Hey, whatever it takes to make it through the day.

12, and way too fidgety to sit and watch entire football games.

More like popping in from playing backyard ball with my buds and asking dad what the score is for whatever game.

Where can I buy one of the cups immortalizing this momentus event?

This is the most Aggie post I’ve ever seen from a Longhorn.
I have no choice but to agree with this, smh

I mean, for states with only one big school (La, Tennessee, Akry, Ky) I can see the average blue collar guy/girl pulling for one of those schools. For States where there's two big schools (Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, SC, Texas), I can see bandwagon fans picking the team that's had the most recent success.

On that note, other than Florida, how many SEC teams have 5 P4 schools in-state to recruit against?

Some of ya'll * coughLSUcough * don't realize how good you have it.
Good, that means we have at least another year before AI becomes intelligent enough to conquer the world.
Yes, I know we wandered in the wilderness for the better part of 15 years before showing signs of getting our shite together, but I can't believe what has happened to one of the best programs of the mid 2k's?

Yes, before one of you smartasses jump in I am very aware they beat us this past season, but even during the Charlie Strong/Mensa Herman years we occasionally upset blowU or an OOC opponent favored over us.

I really don't know if they did a good job replacing Billy, but I also can't see gata being down for too long. The brand is too strong and recruiting grounds are too fertile. I could say the same about FSU, but their shitty conference isn't doing them any favors...in spite of sending a member to the natty.
Are you insinuating admittance to the University of LSU is some big hurdle to overcome?

Lolz
quote:

Clearly not a zero U fan. Absolutely no way a sooner comes to any site and touts tu.

Beyond that, the only time A&M played UGA in the SEC the game was in Athens. The better question would be if UGA is too scared to make a trip to Kyle.

There's stupid...and then there is tRant stupid.

What a collection of fricking morons.
Not sure what stating simple facts has to do with Tulsa University, or maybe Tulane? Temple?

Anyway, how quickly you forget the venue for the last meeting doesn't matter, otherwise big bro wouldn't have beaten your arse at Pyle field back to back? Sure it was separated by 11 years, but that doesn't seem to matter, right? Lolz
If Indiana doesn't mudhole the fightin' Crystal balls then their entire dream season is for naught.

Since the NFL likely snaps up Cignetti sooner or later so he won't be a long term threat, gimme Indy by 20+ points.

It does make me wish we played LSU early in the season. Leavitt's leg injury will keep him out for the spring which should lead to a slow start to the season for LSU.
grab a tampon or sack up my dude.

Arch is finally living up to his potential and now has receivers known for making contested catches and otherwise balling out. Leavitt doesn't scare me at all.
quote:

As a captain, Leavitt skipped ASU’s end of season team banquet nor did he post a thank you to ASU for his time there. While those are small details it does make you question his leadership qualities.

Don’t worry tho, Lane doesn’t care about that.
That could be because other than the TTech upset, the devil's were straight asscheeks this past season.

Doesn't matter though, you're right about that last part, lolz
As someone who saw Leavitt in the playoffs a couple seasons back, this is a good get for the swamp kitties.

In that playoff game he played well, probably better than Quinn. Of course that year he had an actual freak (Scattebo) helping him out, not sure the corndogs have one of those.
Cliffs notes?

Ain't nobody got time for that wall of words
