Jojo Kemp v South Carolina out of the Wildcat. We lined him up and just ran him over and over and over and over because there was literally nothing Carolina could do stop him. It was both incredible and hilarious.

Yes—VY’s Rose Bowl v USC. Nothing else is particularly close.

On 4th and short with the game on the line, they put Vince in at linebacker and he blows up heisman winner Reggie bush to give the horns another shot…….oh wait none of that happened at all. It was the Texas D that made the stop and Pete Carroll who left the heisman winner on the bench for most important play of the season. Maybe it’s closer than you think

Marcus Lattimore:

South Carolina 36, Florida 14
212 rushing yards
3 rushing TDs
31 receiving yards
243 total yards
South Carolina clinched its first-ever SEC East championship with the win.
Lattimore's 243 yards of offense exceeded Florida's entire 226 yards of offense.

Honorable mention
South Carolina 17, Georgia 6
182 yards,
2 TDs

Most any win Herschel played in during his 3 seasons at Georgia were on his shoulders.

Well it would have been darren mcfadden vs us in 09 I think, but Felix Jones existed also

I think both were gone from Arkansas by 09. Your chips went down either in another year or against other players

Todd Kinchen vs A&M in 1990. Huge underdog (thank you, Mike Archer), and had some long plays including a punt return down inside the 5.

I wasn't there to witness, but probably Spurrier vs Auburn in 1966.

quote:

On October 29, 1966, No. 15 Florida Gators quarterback Steve Spurrier secured a dramatic 30-27 homecoming win over Auburn by kicking a game-winning 40-yard field goal with 2:12 left in the fourth quarter, cementing his legacy and capturing the 1966 Heisman Trophy.

All-Around Performance: Steve Spurrier completed 27 of 40 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown, ran for another score, and even punted with a 46.9-yard average.

The Climax: Tied 27-27 late in the game, Florida stalled at the Auburn 24-yard line. Spurrier convinced coach Ray Graves to let him attempt the long kick himself rather than use the regular kicker.

The Legacy: His clutch 40-yard knuckler sailed over the crossbar for "The Kick," providing the ultimate Heisman moment right before voting ballots went out.

I was at the BAMA vs SC game in ‘09 when Mark ran for 246 yards.

This game came up in another thread about a week ago...

2014 Mizzou at Florida. Marcus Murphy had a Punt Return, Kickoff Return, and a rushing touchdown. Mizzou won 42-13 with a grand total of 119 yards total offense.

Another that comes to mind is Cody Shrader's 321 yards from scrimmage against TN in 2023.

EDIT: And pre-SEC (but both current SEC teams), Tony Temple in the Cotton Bowl against Arkansas at the end of the 07 season.

LSU's Jacob Hester 2007 4th down run against Florida is the first that came to mind! But in all honesty the player that comes to mind as a guy who won games.......Honey Badger Tyrann Matheiu! I don't think ppl understand truly how much of a game wrecking play maker he actually was at LSU! He was lightening in a bottle once in a generation player on the field at LSU!

Manziel in 2012 and 2013 against Ole Miss. Ole Miss did a solid job the first 3 quarters against him in both games but he was magic in the 4th both times. Nothing Ole Miss could do about it.

Dexter McCluster 2009 vs. Tennessee.
