Well, downfield passing has been a pain the last 2 seasons.

Arizona Cardinals will start Carson Beck in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. Beck is the 3rd string QB but #1 and #2 will not suit up. Will any Dawg fan tune in to see him?

Some famous coach (Bear Bryant?) was asked the question, "What will be your toughest game this season?" He answered, "The next one." That's what I feel about the next season.

I think he is at Shepard Clinic being treated for either spine or brain injury.

Happy Independence Day to all! Daughter and son-in-law came over from Roswell and we went to Trash Pandas game last night. Great game and a fantastic fireworks show after the game.
Today is a day to celebrate the birthday of the greatest nation in the world! Too many people treat it as simply a holiday to have burgers and hot dogs in the backyard. Think of all your blessings and remember the people in 1776 that helped create this great nation. Think of the people that fought to make this land free! Then, think of the people that fought in many wars to keep this nation free and great! Honor them today!

My daughter in Roswell is a Loony Liberal Democrat but says the runoff for governor is really weak. She says she will likely vote for Jackson. She loves Ossoff and thinks he is gonna be president someday.

They have vowed many times they want to wipe Israel off the map. They would probably use a nuke on them if they had one.

Too many balls off the plate called strikes and too many strikes not called. But the call last night on the dropped fly ball was terrible. Thank goodness it got reversed on the challenge. Then the safe call at the plate was amazing. That ump had his eye on both the player and the tag. I guess Texas didn't have enough fans at the game to trash the field to get the umps to call it in their favor.

My daughter and I spent the afternoon with Dale Murphy and his wife Nancy. Met at his restaurant for lunch and an autograph session, then he guided a tour of the stadium. We watched the game from the Home Depot private booth in center field. He told us many stories about his career. He and Nancy were so nice and friendly.
I found the Sports Illustrated issue with his picture on the cover after his back-to-back MVP wins and he autographed the cover for me. It was a great day for my daughter and me.
