Where Are they Now?
Posted by AlaCowboy46 on 6/8/25 at 9:35 pm
Saw Tae Crowder playing for the Birmingham Stallions today in the UFL Playoff game, then got home for the 2nd half of the DC Defenders v the St. Louis Battlehawks and DeAndre Baker was playing for the Defenders.

Try a mustard whopper. Same as regular except cut mayo and catchup, use mustard. Mmmm-mm.
If it's on bread or a bun, it has to have mayo. I prefer Dukes.

the DeKalb Farmers Market.
Shopped there often when I lived in Atlanta area. I remember when it burned. Insurance covered about half of replacement cost and regulars contributed money to get it reopened.
There used to be a hippie-run market on North Decatur Road near there that sold fresh food and vitamins. I would go there and get fresh apple juice made while you wait. They had a big juicer and bought apples by the barrel. I would buy a gallon at a time. Apples came from North Georgia up near Blue Ridge.

I met some cool Georgia fans in Austin back in October. I don't think this retard is really a Georgia fan.
Georgia fans are always cool when we win. We were cool after beating you in the SECCG too.

To me logically it makes sense to start on the 0
The first year was year 1. So, the tenth year would be year 10. All decades start with xxx1 and end with xx10.

Can’t make it up
When I lived in Atlanta area I always gave directions based on some landmark. I would ask directions by "What is it close to?"
I told a guy in Dunwoody asking where the nearest Lowe's was, "You know where the Frito Lays plant used to be?" He said "No." I said, "You're not from around here, are you?"

Probably a noon ET kickoff. Maybe Ohio State v Michigan at 3:30.

nice work. If history comes into play then SC would be UGA's 3rd and not Kentucky.
Should be Tennessee, not Kentucky. And no team should be allowed to claim a permanent rivalry with any team that has not won at least 3 SEC titles. Let the bottom teams play each other.
Bammer will claim Vandy, Arky, and South Carolina just to get the easy wins.

Tech decided to double size their entire school to make money off the international crowd.
Foreign students should pay double tuition and not be eligible for any scholarships. Just my opinion.

Did they enjoy watching the Playoff games on TV?

Pavia is going to ply his sixth full college season? What? We might as well have 30 year olds there.
I saw where Miami TE Cam McCormick was granted ninth year of eligibility. He had several injuries over the years. He will be about 28.

Might as well. It'll be the only win over Georgia in your lifetime.

After two wins in one season over the shorthorns and Sark, Georgia fans certainly like the team and coach. We especially liked Ewers crying with Arch on the bench.

Bill Clinton came to Little White House and my Dad had a chance to meet him. He couldn’t stand Clinton but stood there and shook his hand because he was President of the United States.
When I was covering North Georgia for a hardware company I used to stop at The Pink Pig for lunch once or twice a month. In the late '80s Jimmy Carter would come in because it was his favorite BBQ place. He would pull up in a three car convoy with half a dozen Secret Service agents and two or three aides and come in and take over half the tables. Jimmy would shake every hand in the place and the SS agents would cringe.
There were probably 10 people in there eating before he pulled up. I shook his hand every time I saw him there.

Hit to the opposite field. I saw Hank Aaron hit an inside the park home run once.

It would be one thing if they stood up and said why they weren't going. Instead they hid behind the lie of 'scheduling conflict." Shame on them for being cowards and not speaking up..

Just to be clear when we talk about Ewers’ NIL (and this is true for Arch as well) little to none of that comes from Texas or its boosters
If you think boosters aren't funding most of the NIL money, you're dumber than Bevo.

And before anyone fires back that "If he was so good, why didn't he beat out Beck?"
I heard that Beck had a major problem with adjusting to Bobo's offense in that Beck is more a traditional drop-back passer and couldn't adapt to a play-action offense where he had to run the ball on options. Maybe Bobo and the HC could have made adjustments. Maybe I'm wrong.
