Florida fans in Ben Hill Griffin stadium. Worst fans I've ever been around and I've been to every SEC stadium except for Mizzou and Kentucky.

Florida St fans are the worst I’ve dealt with in person.

Ohio St fans, because I lived there, are basically an insulated cult. They’re the only real team in the state so they have football only child syndrome. Mostly good people outside of their football fandom.

This was me in Tallahassee last year. I’ve been to so many football games without incident. FSU was the only time I nearly fought a guy. I’m fine with a bit of shite talk but there’s lines you don’t cross and too many people in this world have gone too long without having their chin checked.

Was in Orange Beach last year and happened to see some staying where I did more than once.

This one group had on LSU gear every time I saw them. Looked like the cast of Swamp People.

I live in Georgia so naturally it's UGA for me. I don't have anything Bama-related on my car nor will I ever wear a Bama polo in public again. The last time I made that mistake, boomers with half my IQ apparently took it as an invitation to run their mouths. Even at work, I overhear people talk more shite about Bama than Florida.

What I've never understood is why UGA fans hate Bama so much. We're not rivals. We barely play each other. Their coach was essentially crafted by Bama. We share common enemies. And most of us don't give UGA a second thought when we aren't playing them. Yet some UGA fans act like we fricked their wives and mothers at the same time then sent them home with our dick yogurt still smeared across their faces.

Auburn is a close second mostly because when I lived in Alabama, they were fricking exhausting. It was like they hated Bama more than they actually loved Auburn. Though they seem to have calmed down in recent years.

But if we're judging strictly by gameday crowds, I'd give it to Aubur (I've never been to Baton Rouge or Knoxville). The number of people down there who will say things to a complete stranger they wouldn't DARE cross if we were alone in a dark alley is fricking incredible.

I've never understood why people think a football game gives them a license to disrespect complete strangers. Especially strangers who would absolutely butcher them without compunction.

shite talk is one thing... Acting like the presence of a football stadium temporarily suspends the basic rule of human interaction is another.


I don't think I'll ever bother going to an LSU game as I can tell by the videos I'll either be leaving in handcuffs or on a gurney. Absolutely no fricking chance some drunk Cajun frick is going to touch or throw beer on me without getting scalped. Don't give a frick how drunk or small they are.

Florida State fans have a very weird inferiority complex about Alabama, particularly since "the snub"

I typically go to a few of their games every year because my wife is an alum and we live close by. I always just wear neutral colors. Went to an FSU/Miami game a few years ago and sat in one of the suite areas with a friend of mine. I had on a red and white striped polo with a grey pullover. Not a logo in sight, and had a kid get in my face about me wearing Alabama gear in the FSU suite. Now, I've had great times over there and have great friends that are FSU fans.

It's obviously not all of them, but their worst fans are right up there with anyone's.

Truth be told when it comes down to the definition of football arrogance we probably take the cake there, but there's a good reason for that. We're the most historically dominant program in the sport. When it comes to obnoxiousness we generally don't even measure there. We expect to beat everyone. Nothing obnoxious about that, but I reckon it could be construed as arrogance.
