It's hard to say because I don't know who all actually donates. We have some wealthy graduates, but none are billionaires. Paul Bryant Jr. net worth is about $800 million according to Google. The Drummond Family is worth around $600 million. J. Frank Barefield Jr. recently donated $35 million to the school but not sure about athletics. C.T. and Kelley Fitzpatrick donated around $20 million to the school (not sure about athletics or their net worth). Hugh F. Culverhouse Sr. is worth about $380 million. Lee Styslinger is worth between $700M to $1.5B and just donated and became the name of the engineering school (not sure how much he donates to athletics).

Here's a little secret they don't advertise: They let all their sub-part scoring students in as "provisional" freshmen the summer prior to their freshman year. That way, they don't count against their school averages for "incoming freshman class scores" or even selectivity. Alabama is not alone in playing this game, many schools do. Auburn does not.

Guess I will be the only one that disagrees with the doom and gloom of our University suffering just because football is bad. Dr. Witt started his vision when Bama was suffering some of the worst football years in our existence. Sure, having a great football program helps in recruiting students but in the end they don't list having an elite football program as pirority #1. UA is the most generous school in giving out scholarships. Having a chance to graduate without any debt is a bigger draw than football, not only for interested students but their parents as well.

Not sure about this to be honest. Kind of confused by it. Why would we wear black at all? This color scheme thing works for more cult like universities like Auburn, Miss St, and Texas A&M. I don't see this working as intended.
