Wished they had designed seats closer to the plate instead of that brick wall
My biggest gripe about the new field. I don't understand it. Whenever I watch other teams and their fans are right behind the plate it makes me feel that they are into the game more. I don't know what to tell you on the fan support though. We are not even good frontrunners when it comes to that. Maybe everyone that has followed the team over the years believes we will eventually fall off even when things look promising early in the season. There is no reason that the town itself cannot support this program. It's not like Tuscaloosa is a tiny town and relies on Birmingham to support the programs.

Can they give examples of what exactly won't be on the shelves. If it's shitty children's toys I'm more than ok with that. They break all the time anyways

This is why Trump wants multiple Golden Domes and something we are working right now. It will take a little while though to get them built and operational

"More executives, from Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon to Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, warned Wall Street and the Trump administration of the damage to the economy that tariffs will cause.
Branson said Trump could do lasting harm with his unpredictable trade policies that took a booming economy and shook it to its core. “It’s just such a pity because everything was going so bloody well up to about three months ago,” Branson said."
Pardon me? Booming economy?

sure would be nice if other schools (cough cough AU) good players would go pro by their sophomore year instead of it always being us. It just kills any momentum. Of course I'm thrilled for our guys that make it to the pros no matter when they do it

How is that any different than anywhere else?

Where? Several Schools here have eliminated their pre-K 4 programs. Not sure if any ever had pre-K 3.
I'm in Huntsville and not one school has eliminated any Pre-K program and they have all added more Pre-K. Where do you live where they are eliminating them?

OK, so I'll bite. There must be a reason for this.
Media doesn't care if there is a reason for anything this administration does. They will see it as evil and their short sighted subscribers lap it up and goes with it

This makes me wonder if they are wanting to shift all of this to Public State Run facilities
I'm sure this is the end goal. Just like DoE they want to make states responsible for things instead of the federal gov't. I just wish the adminstration would give some reasoning out before they make this "public"

Somehow someway this will end up screwing us. I always took pride in that we seemed to be the only team in the conference that didn't do the fake injuries, at least from when I watched

Meh, Auburn seems to be hitting stride right now and are ranked in the top 10. Mississippi State just has our number for whatever reason and I wasn't shocked that we lost that series.
I don't have confidence in this series because we have seemed to have lost all our offensive power from earlier in the season when we were playing scrubs.

Midweeks can be rough. Just ask Ole Miss. Still, better step it up or risk slaughter at LSU.
I would never get upset about midweek wins. Many years that is what kept us out of the Regionals.

Wonderful crowd. Beautiful day. Terrible game. Started out behind right from the get go (again). Nothing offensively to take the pressure off of the pitching staff. Frustrating on many levels - especially to the team. Last home midweek coming up Tuesday against UAB.
When is the last time we actually won the series against Miss St? Doesn't matter how horrible they are they seem to have our number. This shite is so frustrating.
re: What athletes do you think could succeed on the PGA Tour?
Posted by cdur86 on 4/11/25 at 12:40 pm
I've tried watching some "athletes" try to throw a baseball. I'm confident not many, if any, could succeed on the Tour even if they spent all their time and energy on it.

You're responding to an AU grad. They will write their kids out of the will if they don't attend AU. It's a thing
