didn't your QB get a TRO and defyed the NCAA rulings? you really don't want to participate in this business. your hypocracy is showing.
Difference is he didn’t sign a pro contract and it was against the NCAA. Not the SEC

Actually LSU refused to roster said players and put themselves in contempt of court to do so. So LSU went against a court order to comply with SEC rules. Yet everybody is mad. Makes no sense.

And you are brilliant thinking that a state institution will just sit there and take being kicked out of a conference arbitrarily which will impact state/taxpayer funds to millions of dollars.

I don't think that at all. I've stated it a few times that the SEC will never kick LSU out unless there is some serious, widespread, irrefutable evidence of severe wrongdoing.

However, I think LSU pushed the limits to the point that it tested the patients of the conference leadership. Like a parent dealing with an obnoxious child who doesn't want to clean their room. Eventually the parent has to bring out the threats and consequences. Just because the child eventually cleans their room doesn't mean the child did nothing wrong.

I really don't give a shite about LSU or what happens. I just think it's hilarious all the LSU people acting persecuted and pretending that they don't understand what the university did wrong.

Although I desperately want out of this conference, here's what is going to happen:

1. No punishment for LSU. Zero. And even if it's attempted, all of it will be reversed on appeal.
2. The 9 game SEC schedule is going to frick so many people over in this conference, it will be impossible to ignore. Even with a 24 team playoff, some 3 loss SEC schools who have been cannibalizing themselves are going to be left out because of undefeated/one loss, middle tiered schools.
3. Sankey will eventually be fired or removed. And it will be because of the LSU thing that has become an enormous distraction, and eventually all the rest of you clamoring for his head.

In the meantime, I hope LSU either leaves by choice (my most desired outcome) or we get kicked out.

With that said, frick each and every one of you backstabbing, traitorous, snake motherfrickers.

Please explain what LSU did wrong then.

Refused to roster players going against a court order.
Said over and over again they will follow SEC rules.
The SEC literally took a quote from Wade and cut out the part that said we will follow SEC rules to try a gotcha in court. It's a witch hunt and anybody with a brain can see it.

I don't think a poster who can't spell or punctuate correctly should be calling anyone else on this board stupid. Your posts make you sound like a 5th grader. The bad part is that you probably don't even understand what I am talking about. What you should probably do from now on is go get the 12 year old that lives in the mobile home next door to come proofread all of you posts before you hit submit. It will fool most of the other LOLSU posters into thinking that your are not as dumb as you sound.

There, I fixed your grammatical errors, dipshit.

No one wins in this scenario. The NCAA and SEC have fricked this up beyond belief.

Fify

You are probably right. It could have been handled so much better. Kiffin just needs to make an apology and keep his mouth closed from now on.

Apology for what? Going against a court order and not rostering the players.

That's right....LSU is the center of the universe.

You LSU guys are unreal in your delusion that the conference revolves around your drama.

Meanwhile, your delusion that LSU has done something to warrant expulsion has been fun to watch.

UGA needs to worry about their star players being responsible for other teammates and staffers’ deaths and UGA doing absolutely nothing about it.

That’s before we even talk about losing to Auburn, at home

I don't think they will ever actually kick LSU out, but it would set a precedent that the legal courts do not supersede conference regulations. None of this is a legal matter. Crimes have not been committed. However, belonging to the SEC (or any conference, including the larger NCAA) comes with inside rules and regulations that every member team and participant agrees to abide by. LSU had to be threatened with expulsion before dropping their bid to roster ineligible players. To the bitter end LSU was throwing some local judge's order in the SEC's face. That's the long and short of it.

I don't disagree with this, but NCAA / SEC is in tough situation. People are making money and they are excluding some from making that money. I honestly hope save college act doesnt pass

Nothing will come of this except lawyers make a ton of money. LSU will NOT be penalized and this will linger until year-end.

The SEC is a member institution of the NCAA, and by not forcing Ole Miss to remove an ineligble player from their roster, they have shown a lack of institutional control.

Time to expel the SEC from the NCAA.

Sankey makes decisions based on pity.

That’s why he hasn’t said a damn thing about Ole Miss repeatedly ignoring the NCAA or Pete Golding repeatedly ignoring tampering rules.

Lane Kiffin left them so they get to play by different rules.

Mike Johnson won't let it. Sankey's ego fricked that up.
