By the majority of threads and posts, LSU is the center of every fanbase’s universe.
It’s not a delusion if the majority of what everyone here talks about is LSU.

Also I still don't know what an SEC wins means?

It means they could kick LSU out which they could always do with a vote

I understand that LSU did not roster the players so how are they insulting and embarrassing the SEC? The SEC seems to be doing a pretty good job of embarrassing themselves. Snarky comments by a coach doesn't constitute LOIC.

While simultaneously losing a huge portion of revenue.
How can that even be considered a “win”?

didn't your QB get a TRO and defyed the NCAA rulings? you really don't want to participate in this business. your hypocracy is showing.

Difference is he didn’t sign a pro contract and it was against the NCAA. Not the SEC

The SEC agrees to abide by all NCAA rulings, just like every member institution. He's ineligible. The OM judge's order didn't change that. It just bought him enough time to play this year.

When LSU fricked your wife, she had already left you. It's time to let it go.

They didn't even proofread it. There's already an error in the third sentence.

SEC Bylaws:

quote:

14.01.1 Compliance With Other NCAA and Conference Legislation. Each student-athlete of each member institution who
competes in, or is on the roster of a team that competes in, intercollegiate varsity or junior varsity athletic competition must comply
with the Constitution, Bylaws, and other rules, regulations, and legislation of the Conference and the NCAA applicable to his/her
sport in order to be eligible for athletically-related aid, practice, or competition

Chambliss was denied a 6th year by the NCAA under rule 12.8.1.5. Thus he, and Ole Miss, are explicitly going against SEC bylaws due to an TRO and Sankey et. al don't seem to care about that. It's only LSU, who hasn't broken a single rule, who they seek to punish. It's ridiculous.

quote:

12.8.1.5 Extraordinary Circumstances. The Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement, or an active member institution or conference designated by the committee, may approve an extension of the five-year period of eligibility based on a finding that a student-athlete was unable to participate in intercollegiate athletics for a specified period of time due to extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of the student-athlete or the institution.

On another topic while looking up the SEC Rulebook I found this absurd NCAA "point of emphasis" for this season. It's now roughing the passer if you hit a QB too hard while he is in the process of throwing the ball.

quote:

The definition of a defenseless player-passer has been expanded to include an offensive player in a passing posture with focus downfield, even if a pass is not thrown. It is important for all officials — and the Referee and Center Judge in particular — to be a presence and recognize when a passer is threatened or in a defenseless position. The crew must make it a priority to afford the quarterback all the protection the rules provide.

Uh, the SEC by-laws specifically incorporate NCAA eligibility rules. So the injunction was very much against the SEC.

You don't seem to understand that if the SEC is going to argue to a court that they're a responsible governing body, then they can't be out here picking and choosing which eligibility rules they want to enforce and when they want to enforce them.

They also can't be out here going nuclear on institutions that haven't broken their rules.

Those facts seem to completely baffle you, and several other dunce-cap-wearing individuals here, here for some reason.

Well.. if they would quit doing things to embarrass them over this could go away. As long as they want to puff their chests out. I say we keep needling the shite out of them and mocking them over and over

I'd concede that point, but LSU IS the center of THIS universe, no? And the reason for that is because all the rest of you worthless, pieces of shite can't seem to even moderately hide the double-standard. You hate us. You hate Lane. You hate us for raising money to hire him. You hate us for hiring Wade back. You're all so bitterly jealous that we're charting our own paths instead of just sitting under Bama and Georgia perennially.

I'd love nothing more than to pack 100K fans in Tiger Stadium as an Independant. Or home/away games in Columbus OH, Ann Arbor, Happy Valley... Maybe Miami. Maybe Los Angeles. Places we're appreciated. Anywhere but remaining with all you turncoat motherfrickers. Enjoy the harmony until Sankey starts sucking that Longhorn money dick. And you'll deserve every tiny bit of it.

LSU's coaches haven't done anything to "embarrass or insult" the SEC. All of LSU's kickback against the SEC came after the SEC fired the first shot.

If I'm wrong, I'd invite you to correct me.

This is the crux of Tony Clayton's issue with the SEC and Sankey. It's also why Wright and Harris are going to win when they sue for damages. It's going to be fricking hilarious to watch Sankey and the SEC have to pay all sorts of money to these two kids that they singled out. I cannot believe that they fricked this up this bad. How does Sankey even still have a job?

Great idea! Keep it up! Everyday, all day long. That is the sure pathway to LOLSU independence and bankruptcy! I think LOLSU coaches and staff should do everything within their power to to piss off the SEC between now and November 12th. I am positive that will help their cause! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

This is the biggest jackassry that I’ve ever wasted five minutes reading in my life.
There is not one substantive piece of new “damning” information toward @LSU. Not only is it a straight opinion piece, but it comes off like the writer is upset that LSU has not actually broken a law/rule. Plus, he attempts to reignite the insane notion that the SEC would actually kick LSU out of the conference. This guy is a joke. This is the furthest thing from journalism that I’ve ever read in USA Today.
