This is the crux of Tony Clayton's issue with the SEC and Sankey. It's also why Wright and Harris are going to win when they sue for damages. It's going to be fricking hilarious to watch Sankey and the SEC have to pay all sorts of money to these two kids that they singled out. I cannot believe that they fricked this up this bad. How does Sankey even still have a job?
I'm surprised the conference/governing board has proven to be this incompetent. At first, I thought there was more to the story and that the conference was just building its case against LSU, but at this point, they just appear to be completely useless at their jobs.

Like Chambliss?
Didn't sign a pro contract. Y’all love acting like that piece of information is irrelevant for some reason
Is one player's ineligibility better or worse than another player's ineligibility or are all ineligible players illegal participants? If there are variations as to the legality of rostering and playing these players, where can I find this black and white explanation in the NCAA/SEC bylaws?
Is Chambliss ineligible according to the NCAA/SEC? Is Ole Miss playing him?

Great idea! Keep it up! Everyday, all day long. That is the sure pathway to LOLSU independence and bankruptcy! I think LOLSU coaches and staff should do everything within their power to to piss off the SEC between now and November 12th. I am positive that will help their cause! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Whether the SEC is "pissed off" more or less doesn't matter in the least. The conference can expel LSU at any time they so desire.
The conference is simply seeking to be protected from suits against the conference from LSU, or other affected parties, if they do so. I can't see that being awarded with the amount of money at stake. Especially as LSU hasn't actually violated any rules.
I understand that your stance is that this is over the conference being "pissed off", but the conference can't simply eject LSU because they're "pissed off". At least not without damages being sought by the affected parties.

I don't know if you realize this but semantics are central to court arguments, especially in the Supreme Court. Arguing with your feelings are for politicians, idiots, and emotionally unstable people. So, which one are you?

Through all of this, LSU has exposed Sankey as being weak, spineless, unprepared, petty and an overall bad leader of the SEC. His bad decisions/ideas keep mounting - 9 game SEC schedule, transfer players having to sit out a year.
He should probably just take a step back and keep his mouth shut for a stent but he can’t help himself.

That's this board's biggest issue with this. They want to be able to say all this and that. But, when it comes down to it, no one can get around this fact. The mental gymnastics to get around it are great for a bye week though.

LSU can argue semantics and proclaim it never rostered players.
Writer lost all credibility there. Bama rostered a pro player, absolutely nothing happened. Sankey sat on his arse and didn’t do a mutha fricking thing.
But LSU played ‘semantics’ by never breaking a rule, and the bill is due? Whoever wrote this is a joke. MSN writer, figures, not taking anything seriously from a writer that wears a ‘white guys for Kamala’ tshirt to bed every night.

The purpose of this article is to convince LSU they are losing a lawsuit in which most legal indications point to a dismissal. SEC is struggling to articulate a purpose for the suit.
The author is a walking library of stupid articles that are wrongheaded hit pieces that fail basic fact checks.
He is an embarrassment to even a leftist birdcage liner.
Go to his history of articles and see how he has had to quickly change the subject to avoid being held accountable for his yellow journalism.

They continue to let their coaches insult and embarrass the SEC. This is not about breaking any rules. Can't you LOLSU fans understand this? It's not that hard to understand.
LSU's coaches have did anything to "embarrass or insult" the SEC. All of LSU's kickback against the SEC came after the SEC fired the first shot.
If I'm wrong, I'd invite you to correct me.
Of course it's about breaking rules, or at least, that's what it's supposed to be about. The SEC has to have incurred damages to bring a civil lawsuit. They haven't been damaged by LSU at all. LSU hasn't broken any rules.
There are so many deficiencies with this lawsuit both procedurally and substantively I'm surprised the judge is even holding a hearing. He should just rule on the briefs that have been filed and dismiss it.

That's right....LSU is the center of the universe. You LSU guys are unreal in your delusion that the conference revolves around your drama.
I sure remember the idiots and you were probably one of them that kept saying LSu would bend the knee and Lane would get suspended or possibly fired. Quite the melt when the exact opposite happened.
Will be quite delicious when Sankey is removed within the next two years…

Sigh. You really can't even call this shoddy journalism at this point. It is flat out misinformation.
