Tell us exactly what we did to be considered insubordination? Would love to hear it.

Bring it!

Lane is waiting with something north of John Holmes for the SEC’s hindquarters.

It’s not going to end well for Sankey. He will need a mouthpiece, a pillow won’t be enough.

If the SEC wins in federal court what do the win?

Like what happens next? They could vote us out if they wanted

Do they try and penalize LSU and some how that allows them to take money that's not in our bylaws / whatever?

It can hide behind a legal barricade that players and their representatives shopped for a local judge and found a path to eligibility — not LSU. A path that just happened to strip the SEC of its authority to govern conference members.
This is what they’ve been doing. They thought the league and everyone else would just throw their hands up and accept it. Which was extremely stupid

LSU backing down again won't be as hilarious as the last time. Need some new material.

Sadly, Sankey and the other member institutions are too chicken shite to pull the trigger.

didn't your QB get a TRO and defyed the NCAA rulings? you really don't want to participate in this business. your hypocracy is showing.

there are other examples with other teams. THE DIFFERENCE IS SANKEY LET EMA ALL GO and for some reason put his foot down in LSU's case. I'd love to know whay we were chosen to be the example even tho i've got theories.

Allow me to help you. You're dumb and Sankey will be gone before LSU. Funny thing about rules. When you don't break them, you can't be punished. Lastly your team sucks.

Another day, another hit piece from US Today on LSU

quote:

There are two choices for LSU in its four-month legal fight with the SEC, and neither is good: Follow conference rules and burn bridges with state and local politicians, or take your chances in federal court against the SEC.

Do they think LSU is going to burn bridges with Louisiana politicians? That's stupid.

So, the truth?

quote:

A path that just happened to strip the SEC of its authority to govern conference members.

Like other TROs?

quote:

Much like the original missed move of forbidding the rostering of professional players, Rousse could’ve stopped Kiffin intentionally embarrassing the league before it happened. He simply could’ve told Kiffin to steer clear from agitating the league office or the commissioner - or he will be fired for cause for embarrassing the university.

Rousse instead left Kiffin to his own volition, a move that, while entertaining, is also teeming with danger.

Which is not unlike this entire ordeal. It looks good and plays well to those in LSU’s orbit hungry for red meat.

But it falls flat and looks like lack of institutional control to the remaining 15 presidents and chancellors of the league. The same group that will decide LSU’s punishment if the SEC wins in court next month.

My god, this is a terrible article. Kiffin made a half time quip that was clearly a joke. And in that quip, after he decided not to roster the players, he never said he planned on breaking any conference rules. All other times he has said he will follow conference rules. And he has followed conference rules.

"Stankey let them go "......according to several pod casts covering this issue, all said that there are 91 former "pro players in several sports " playing in the NCAA's across the country.
