So you’re picking OM to beat LSU?

It isn't that we beat a 6-6 team, it's how we beat them compared to years past. Why is that so hard to understand?

We aren’t talking about UF in this thread. Don’t deflect.
mhuh? You literally tried to do a horrible comparison of Florida’s team last year to LSU this year. Did you read the OP? But back to the topic. You’re wrong. Won’t try to come with facts cause it seems like you struggle with that.

I can also be honest and say Clemson will struggle to win eight game and will likely be 6-6.

Clemson is a P4 team who has top 15 recruiting. Do they use the portal at a high level? No but they still have top 15 recruiting with a 2x NC coach.

They had 1 first down in the first half. 8 total with that coming almost entirely against the 3rd string.

This wasn’t a turnover thing. We had 1 turnover and the differential was even.

On offense: Over 300 yards passing. Over 300 yards rushing.

As an LSU fan I have seen elite teams go against the dregs of the SEC and also against other conferences. I don’t care how bad Clemson is. That’s a different level.

Y’all can try to crap on Clemson and they weren’t good. This was a beat down on another level that it doesnt matter where they end in the ACC.

Either you didn't watch the LSU game or you are clueless about football. LSU crushed them in every phase of the game and looked good doing it!

oh, just like they did last year AT Clemson. Yes, it was much closer, but Clemson had 9 future NFL players, was ranked #4, and played at home.

LSU looked very good beating them. I expect LSU to be good this year, and expected them to be good last year.

Could you text me when you start the thread with your thoughts on Ole Miss’ season?

OP has been melting since Kiffin picked LSU over UF. Let him rant until he gets it out of his system.

AI is wrong all of the time. And using that for comparison instead of your own two eyes? Pathetic and lazy.

Come on. They probably played the toughest competition outside of Ole Miss. We might think Baylor is better by the end if things go really south there, but still better than most of us.

They beat them like a drum.

Can Clemson play better? Yes. Was some of it terrible coaching and preparation? Yes.

But give LSU their due.

Are their fans overreacting like they just won the whole season? Sure.

If you have been on here a long time, should you be surprised by that? No.

They did this exact same shite last year, every summer that dumbass fanbase is 100% convinced they're going to win the title. We were spared from 2020-2024 because they lost the opener every year. They're CFB's equivalent of Dallas Cowboys fans minus the bandwagon part because noone outside of that shithole state roots for LSU

Some are overreacting, but in general it's mostly a validation of what we were expecting with Lane on the field. The offense found ways to consistently move the ball. The big question was how this Frankenstein roster would gel. Was a good first game.
