LSU fans are setting themselves up for a massive disappointment

Beating up on a 6-6 or worse ACC team and claiming a natty already is just setting yourselves up for massive disappointment.
Did LSU look good? Sure. Any team can look good for one game.
Florida beat FSU (who beat Alabama) pretty handily last year with an interim coach and Interception Lagway, but we were terrible.
We will know a lot more in a couple of weeks, but I’m still sticking with an 8-4 or 9-3 season for LSU.

As the season plays out it will become evident just how bad Clemson really is. They really suck.
LSU still beat the shite out of them. Did what was needed. But still… who in the SEC could Clemson beat?

This is wishcastong at its finest. But also tons of fans are predicting 9-3 or 10-2 so not far off from you. Florida looks much different than LSU that’s a laughable statement.

I admit LSU looked good. I can also be honest and say Clemson will struggle to win eight game and will likely be 6-6.

We aren’t talking about UF in this thread. Don’t deflect. We had a dominating performance except for some defensive issues, but FAU is a tougher opponent than Clemson.
Now, back to what we are discussing in this thread, LSU fans are in for a rude awakening when they play SEC teams.

How many games Clemson wins has zero to do with my excitement over how LSU looked. If LSU just looked good because of how bad Clemson is, they will get run out of Oxford in two weeks.
