It’s not nation building we are after. It’s shock and awe against the Iranian leadership and military forces. After that it doesn’t matter. The group that seizes power will not be interested in funding terrorism or lobbing missiles at Israel. We bring the boom and let their people sort it out.
Very true. They won’t go down easily. They will fire hundreds of missiles at our regional bases. But I have the feeling most bases in Jordan, at sea, or further will be unreachable. The base in Qatar will likely be abandoned.

I just see this as a chance to finally purge the last bastion of Islamic terrorism and set the region up for lasting peace.
