Don’t think Jackson State is going for 30-35K stadium. I think that’s been the issue.

Jealousy

That shite is powerful lol. I’m not real big on just reading social media constantly but the amount of people who think the SEC cheated to their dominance is wild lol. It’s not even just random joes either. It’s literally insane. They bring up NIL as if the SEC isn’t still dominating in recruiting. I have always said the portal did more damage than NIL.
I live in Columbia and know a good deal of Clemson fans. They are bringing a good crowd. A lot of them already have hotels booked and vans rented to come.
shite 4 should be it to be completely honest.
I’m from Mississippi and played high school football there. We have great talent but it’s harder to compete for that talent with two power 4 programs. Yes the right coach and money helps but you have to keep it up long term. Kentucky is hard but I still just think it’s South Carolina. Just too many teams with great football tradition surrounding them.
quote:

Georgia is a recruiting hotbed and only has Tech as an instate rival to compete with since the borders are locked down and other teams can’t come in and poach our high school talent

They can easily come in lol. Yall just do a great job of recruiting.
You can add Auburn in as well for Mississippi State. I wouldn’t say Florida and Florida State for them. Florida has never been a strong point for them. It has for South Carolina.

It’s so much harder to predict games in this era because we really don’t know what everyone has until it’s on the field.

Football Recruiting Neighborhoods

I was just looking at the geographical area of every school in the conference in terms of recruiting. South Carolina is probably the hardest job to build in the SEC. I originally was going to say Mississippi State because of Mississippi’s population and having to deal with LSU and Bama in close proximity. South Carolina has to beat out Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Florida State. That is actually insane.

It’s not the most important but it is definitely extremely helpful if you have a QB who can run. It gives you a higher ceiling in my opinion.
I don’t pay attention until it’s close to signing day. No point in it anymore.

Conference Opponents

What programs would you want your school more to play against more in the conference? Me personally South Carolina because I live in Columbia and I love their atmosphere.
What was the trolling? Did he remotely lie? I’m from Mississippi and this has been a conversation since I was a child. The perception of them has always been that.
As I figured it’s already getting flipped but I 100% understand what he is saying growing up in Mississippi mostly.
I mean it doesn’t help when your rushing game was ranked in the bottom half of the country. Anyway it’s the past.
It’s really not even NIL. It’s the portal.
