Kiffin has done as well as can be done at ole Miss. No way he stays there without a huge commitment. You rebels better pay up or someone else will. That’s the bottom line.
You never own a position in football. And LSU showed its loyalty royally to the tune of a few million. There is no shame and has more money as a man in his 20s than most on this site.
So far below the proffesionalism we are accustomed. The longer this lingers without explanation from someone, the more embarrassing it is becoming.
I sure hope verge realizes he is still interim even if that designation was removed. And why the temporary status was removed should be explained. I agree with the logic that a President can’t know all there is to know in a 8 hours. Did he meet with a board or anyone who could show him personnel files before making any decisions. Did he look. All this just looks so confusing disjointed and frankly embarrassing. Someone needs to say something that will hopefully bring some understanding.
Not that it matters but I am fine with Verge if a serious search for an AD was made by the President or whoever is in charge of hiring the AD. It’s really not fair to Verge either if no serious search was made on behalf of LSU.
Is anyone else confused. So is he isn’t interim but not permanent either?
I think the margins of victory were a little surprising and with California redistricting the mid terms are looking more challenging for republicans. Most are know saying the democrats will win the house. If this happens we will see the return of Trump impeachment etc from these loons.
Maybe he can’t relate to people in the south. Maybe this impersonal methodical way of doing business works in the North?

He can’t coach. He might be able to recruit. Maybe there are K reasons or other reasons of concern to fire him?
Damn by himself? You would think his wife or Sloan or someone would join him.
His contract should be terminated for breach based on the lack of performance sufficient to believe he acted in good faith and to perform at a rate contemplated. He should pay LSU for the loss of revenue caused by his non performance.
The object in college baseball is to win the national championship while developing player for professional baseball. LSU is the gold standard.
I would say times are changing and whether you like it or not it’s just different. But the younger folks are right, that if we don’t like it then just don’t go to the games It really is their game now. I recall going to the game as a child and wondering how all of the old folks could drink whiskey and smoke cigars as the smell of it was what I associated with an LSU game. Plenty of cursing, usually at Charlie Mac. But the people at the games were always nice to young Tiger fans. It was in this excitement that many of us learned to love LSU football. There were hazards of leaving the stadium as other intoxicated fans might bump your vehicle from behind on the way out. Any fighting was usually reserved to college kids and Tulane fans. That to was in a way exciting and disgusting and sad to see but it was a part of the LSU experience.. But society has changed and not for the better. Those before my time, probably didn’t like the smell of whiskey or of cigars or cussing and thought the proper attire for the game was in slacks tie and a coat. For myself, I realize now that marijuana is now acceptable in our society and is becoming mainstream and that the gun violence at these events is becoming less than shocking. By the way, I love hunting and will do it Saturday before the game. I’m not against guns but don’t believe many of the young folks have a proper respect for them. The real problem is that many of these young folks have not been taught respect and have no respect for others, And worse, no respect for themselves. If we were being honest it’s not just about an LSU football game anymore, someone left home to go to a crowded public place knowing they might use a weapon. Our choice is to understand this threat to us and our loved ones. I do not blame this incident on police as they can’t watch over a quarter of a million people. I hope the Governor with a concerted effort by LSU can resolve this for the fans but they can’t change the disrespect, only their mommas and daddy’s could have done this.
Buying up and improving the surrounding ghetto would help. From 10 to campus and some of those side streets seem like a place most folks white and black do not want to be. Cut off some of those streets in there to prevent movement under the interstate on the east side of highland.
Ju Juan looked explosive on a couple of runs.
We are about to be exposed if significant improvement is not made.
I’m so glad to see this impromptu disagreement. It is very interesting and telling. I hope many can see the minority leaders take on this shut down. This really stark in contrast and wish all could to listen to this at least twice. Listen to each of these men make their case. It becomes easier to understand each time you hear it. Make up your own mind.

Trust your eyes not the BK post game BS. If you think like BK that one long run at the end of a long game is enough run for this season then we simply can’t agree. If you like to see a well coordinated qb run with a designated blocker like ole miss ran then you better hire another coordinator or head coach because so far all we have is a preseason promise to see Nuss run more. My eyes haven’t seen any routes or passes that look rehearsed. Looks like Nuss is trying to wave them to stop in zone for a pass. The whole offense and play calling looks as bad as I can ever recall at LSU and I’ve been watching since the 1960s.
We were lucky to not be blown out at ole Miss. iI our offense doesn’t improve, don’t expect our defense to stay inspired no matter how many times Brian Kelly tells you that’s all the run game you need. I trust what I see not what BK says after a game. So far, I’ve not seen a very good football team. You can complain about Nuss, the receivers, the O line but to me this squarely falls on BK. These men including our world class receivers and TE, RBs and OL look totally unfit out of shape, like they walked onto the the field for the first spring game practice. Can someone please coach these guys. You do have to make them workout and practice routes and throwing to them. The qb run by ole miss was about timing and blocking and was a thing of beauty. Do you think that was practiced? So we have had two weeks to prepare to have an offensive design change. Let’s see it or hire another coach please.
I’ve never seen bama so excited about beating Vandy. Maybe it was the loss to them last year but damn to hang around and harass their qb after the game. And then to come here with all of this. Not sure if they are still rebounding from their loss to Fla St or what. These were the same folks screaming Bama sucks and fire the coach a few weeks ago. Now they have a bad case of diarrhea. Thanks for thinking of LSU but we are still focusing on getting our offense started.
