Abolishing the electoral college has to be one of the dumbest things they've ever come up with and they've come up with some fricking gems. No one is going to ever wipe out the flyover states.
The Dave Matthews Band played in Magic Kingdom last night for a corporate event.

SAP held a conference in Disney this week and they shut down the Magic Kingdom last night at 5:30 for a private closing event headlined by DMB playing a shortened set for a little over an hour.
Now, I've been a fan since college but I get how they're not everyone's cup of tea. I watched a live stream last night and it was a pretty cool setting with the castle as the backdrop and all that but it was just such an odd pairing. Dave stood on stage and sang some pretty "un-Disney" lyrics.
I've been wondering what it must cost to pull something like this off. Supposedly the ticket cost for this conference was well over $2k which seems high until you factor in you got park access and events for 3 days plus a private DMB concert. But man, Dave has been so anti-corporate his whole career it seems like such a sellout move. It's making me wonder who really owns the band?
IDK, the whole thing was just weird. :dunno:

Nevermind. You are that stupid.

I moved back to Arabi 4 years ago. I grew up here and left for LSU in '98. Moved to Algiers in 2013 then finally back to Arabi in 2022.
1) Yes, it's different.
2) Yes, it's probably one of the safest parish's this state has.
3) The Chalmation accent is almost extinct. It's kind of depressing. If you're 40-ish and over it's still alive and well. If you're 35-ish and younger you don't sound like you're from here. It's wild. I noticed it at the Tomato Fest this year hanging with my people.
4) There are more and more young, professional families moving here due to tons of new construction being relatively affordable. My street has some plant baws, engineers, a few attorneys and 2 doctors.
It has it's faults and some parts are unrecognizable to people who grew up here but it's still a pretty nice spot to raise a family. Very community oriented. One of the best Rec systems I've seen. The government seems to give a shite about it's people. I have no complaints since moving back home.

Even you aren't this stupid.

In the midst of a playoff run and potential National Championship. It's SO different.
That's a whole lot of do-nothings in one pic. Holy shite.

It's partially not his fault, and it's why I'd never vote for someone who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Somebody like him is incapable of having perspective and really understanding what it's like to be one paycheck aways or one vehicle breakdown away from being in really bad shape.
Who is this fricking unicorn human being you plan on voting for?

I'm way better now, but I remember one time when I was in my 20s waiting for my old beater to break down at any red light and thinking about how I only had 200 dollars in the bank. It wears on you mentally, and it's no fun.
The government didn’t put you in that situation though. You made a series of choices to get to that point.

If he’s available, Burrow.
Just sit them down and explain to them what the AOC's of the world believe should happen to their paychecks.
Especially today. You used to have to get embedded in the field and/or break something really historic to be considered a credible media outlet. Now, the field is 90% liberal arts degree losers with an X account.
What happened to Biden's stage 4 cancer?
Posted by Tigerdew on 5/12/26 at 1:29 pm
How did he go from stage 4 metastasized cancer to nothing in 5 months? I've seen that exact scenario kick the shite out of men much stronger than Joe. What a damn miracle, I guess. :dunno:

People talk shite about the loss of the black nuclear family like it’s some kind of mystery. Who the frick wants to be around that shite?

Remember when Pelosi walked in SF's Chinatown and the Dems were blasting Trump calling him Xenophobic for trying to limit travel from China?
This is their playbook.

New Orleans really wasn’t the smartest place to put a city. But these studies are always hogwash. Maybe one day there will be an event that causes a mass Exodus from New Orleans. But there will always be some kind of smaller city there at the very least.
Let’s cross that bridge when we get there.
Really dumb. It's only been around for 300+ years and strategically placed on one of the busiest trade waterways on fricking earth. What were they thinking?!
We talked about this here and on the OT last week. This was written by a bunch of liberal Tulane research scientists citing no real data. It's the same old "muh coastline" and "muh climate change" bullshite.

It's literally the opposite. I bet it's in the high 90th percentile of black folks that have never voted for a white person.

How many elections do you think were decided by the black votes?
