He also makes repeated trips, along with his family, to Baton Rouge for things other than his foundation. Last time I checked, Burrow speaks highly of LSU, it's fans and Louisiana.

Who cares if you lost only 5 games instead of 6 or 7 at LSU.
.

When did Jayden lose five games at LSU?

He had 10 and 9 win seasons.

All it would take is Steve Spurrier to start crying about his #11 still being used and you guys would be in the same spot.

Just takes one whiney player.

Jayden Daniels looks ridiculous in all of this, but I'm also surprised nobody is turning on Pickett. You wore number 3 last year and then start complaining about not getting to wear number 5 to the new staff. I can see putting up the fight last year for it, but why not move on? Curious if there is a special meaning for the number for Pickett. This just seems like a problem coaches have with kids in pee wee football.

Is that real? It seems to be LSU attempting to discredit him.

Would you think Lane would've been better off staying at Ole Miss? That could be said of Brian Kelly. He should have stayed at Notre Dame.

Burrow sees LSU the same way as Daniels and they just don’t realize it. Nothing more than a forgettable pit stop on the way to the NFL

Sadly this will become the norm for most collegiate athletes

Probably leverage. He was a true freshman bench player last year. He's a starting corner this year.

I mean he’s literally had the number 5 tatted on his arm since high school so it’s likely pretty important/significant to him.

So will he be telling the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers they can't draft him because number 5 is retired? Guess Commanders, Bengals and Panthers are a no go since Daniels, higgins, and Phillips won't give that up. guess he'll have to pay attention to if Kewan Lacy gets number 5 next year in the pros so he can avoid that team as well.

Number 5 is not retired at LSU. It was promised to DJ by Brian Kelly in recruiting (Kelly went on to break that promise). Unlike the NFL where the franchise, has the power in college the players have the power to choose where they want to go to school.

You can spin it any way you want the bitch in this situation is the guy playing in the NFL not the college player who just asked for what was promised to him in recruiting.

It’s LSU’s Copy and they’ve already told him to kick rocks on that.
