Just because it’s written in the contract doesn’t mean the court will enforce, it’s not that cut and dry.

Contracts were between Ole Miss and players. LSU’s involvement after the fact is irrelevant regardless of what may have been said or implied.

I don’t think a precedent has been set either way.
Ole Miss’ AD said is customary that schools pay the buyout. But here’s the thing, NIL has not been around long enough to set a common practice.
Moreover, the amount of money being spent has increased by an order of magnitude over the last few years.
Also, what schools have paid contracts on a player’s behalf and how much was spent. I honestly don’t know, but see this mentioned a lot.

Not quite, they were the only two who had signed revenue sharing contracts before leaving for another school.
That said, it could negatively impact their recruiting unless all schools start enforcing.

Range includes land adjacent to and east of Mississippi River. LSU’s campus is situated next to the river.

Lane’s track record of successfully utilizing the transfer portal is why comparisons are being made.
Whether realistic or not, Lane is expected to produce immediately considering monies implemented.

I believe Auburn has a better and more engaged coach now and for that reason is trending upward.
Just saying, depending on how the other teams ranked around Auburn complete their classes will determine where Auburn lands in the final rankings. This, because Auburn’s class is complete or nearly complete.
That said, Auburn generally recruits at a high level, two of their last 3 recruiting cycles have finished top ten.

We fall at a 1/2 yard short of tying or going for the win at Vandy after losing starting QB. Hell we played OU tough on the road with Pribula playing at like 60%. It's not like you play a lot of teams with winning conference records every year.
That’s a lot of what ifs.
