The SEC doesn't have a monopoly or anything that can be called as such to trigger anything related to anti-trust.
Section 1 of the Sherman Act covers agreements among competitors that restrain trade. The SEC is a joint venture of competing universities. Eligibility rules, membership votes, fines, and suspensions are concerted action.
After NCAA v. Alston (2021), sports leagues do not get a free pass. Courts use the rule of reason: is this restraint reasonably necessary to put on the product, or is it a way to punish a rival?
Another scenario-:

LSU is protected by Injunction;
Litigation takes its course;
Through discovery process, the sins of all member institutions exposed;
SEC as a whole is damaged.

Yes, narrowly tailored rule that specifically benefits one program over another.
SEC will have to defend its asymmetric enforcement of rule, will be interesting to hear their arguments concerning this issue.

SEC should have defined what a professional contract is, they did not.
The league can’t arbitrarily argue intent (successfully) after the fact. Legally it’s a professional contract.

The only date available to secure venue was Halloween. They were expecting a big walk up crowd. Due to the holiday and maybe the weather, the crowd was significantly less than expected.
